NCT 127 Concert in Seoul

I'll be in Seoul during the time NCT 127 will be holding their concerts in Sept.

We missed out on tickets and are still would really like to go. I've never been to Korea nor have bought tickets from Korean sites.

Does anyone have any advice on how to score resell tickets? As the whole ticketing process is very different to ticketmaster and all seems quite confusing! Or is it usual for production tickets to get released on the day?

Would really appreciate the advice, thanks!!

Appreciation for NCT 127 and their KCON performance

Can we take a moment to appreciate what NCT 127 actually did at KCON?

First and foremost: they were singing LIVE and not “live” in the sense of a loud backing track with a few ad-libs thrown over it. There were songs with very little backing track, and you could clearly hear their voices carrying the performance. You could hear the individual members, the harmonies, the ad-libs, the effort of singing while dancing. It wasn't trying to recreate the studio recording perfectly, it was five artists actually performing these songs in front of a live audience. And they sounded amazing!

What struck me almost as much as the live vocals was their stage presence. They knew when to hype the crowd, when to play off each other, when to let a member have a moment, and when to just perform. Their chemistry is something you can't manufacture, it's something that comes from having spent a decade onstage together. They commanded the stage like the veterans they are.

There was a sense of familiarity and confidence that comes from people who have been through a lot together and still know exactly who they are when they step onto a stage. That's more valuable than people give them credit for.

I think that's what I loved most about watching them at KCON. It felt alive.

NCT 127 has been through a genuinely difficult period. There were plenty of points where it would have been completely understandable if the group had gradually become something that existed mostly on paper while everyone moved on to individual activities.

But they renewed their contracts. They chose to continue as NCT 127. They chose each other.

This isn't the same NCT 127 we were watching a few years ago, and I don't think it needs to be. 127 isn't about the number of members standing on the stage. It's the sound. It's the performance style. It's the chemistry. It's the weirdness. It's the confidence. It's the accumulated history of 10 years of making music and performing together.

Those things don't disappear because the lineup changes. If anything, I think KCON showed just how deeply rooted their identity is. Five people were able to walk onto that stage and make it unmistakably NCT 127.

Then Taeyong got to have his own KCON stage the following day, which I thought was such a fitting addition to the weekend. There's something really satisfying about seeing the members continue to grow into their individual identities and careers while still maintaining a commitment to the group.

That's what I hope people take away from this era of 127. The lineup has changed. Their circumstances have changed. Their individual careers have changed. But they still have something that they want to build together.

And I, for one, am incredibly happy about that 💚

Anyone going to see them at AGT tomorrow?

What time are you going to line up? I have a 3PM timeslot ticket reserved for myself only (have to redeem there by lining up as usual) but I feel like the whole worlds gonna go so it will be incredibly tough to get a seat haha. The sub doesnt seem as active as I thought it'd be? Anywhere else people are talking about this? The photo on ig has 154k likes...

127 feels like a hot mess now

Okay before anyone starts, I’m a die hard czennie and ult 127. I just can’t help but notice how big their fall off has been which isn’t even completely their fault. First of all, what even is this sending members for enlistment in cycles which will end up taking ~5 years for them to be reunited. I mean, look at groups like BTS for example. All were sent at the same time and now they’re back with an even bigger fan base since the time gone was so minuscule in the grand scheme of their career and fans dealt w that. Obviously it’s so SM can pump out as many cb’s or singles as they can to continue activity but it’s making it a hot mess. I mean, think about how not even that long ago we only had to deal with winwin transitioning to acting without an actual announcement from SM that he basically would not be seen in any NCT activity. And then after the whole situation with yk who and like 3 weeks later they announced the momentum with like 6 members. I remember going to the SA stop and the arena felt… empty? You would think a group that is as popular and influential (ie. Neobongs, mk being a constant meme, just them in general) to now falling off the face of the earth. NCT as a whole is simply flopping and I’m just as excited as anyone for blingy, but at the same time this is just a big fat mess and it’s so obvious the members don’t rlly fw each other anymore and are basically co workers. Like at this rate SM needs to figure it out bc it’s pretty disappointing to see an entire group of 23 people burst in to flames in front of our eyes after all this. And don’t even get me started on cult member lee… 😭 all in all I feel bad for 127, but I can’t help but notice the fall off. Which I mean them and SM partially did to themselves.
TLDR: NCT got dealt a bad hand w enlistment planning and neglect from SM & 127 gets the brunt of it. Even of they renewed contracts, they need to either figure it out or just move on to different projects bc it’s radio silence up in here.

Zerobaseone’s kcon performance is what I wanted nct 127s to be

I get that they are down a couple members but I really wanted a more mature look for them. Lemonade was a great opener but the other songs besides walk did not keep the momentum going enough for me. Why can’t we get ayo and designer? 2 baddies and kick it again? Come on sticker and whiplash would’ve been better. I get that they were throwing it back to their earlier days as a group but their energy is not young anymore. That sexy back cover was too dang good I could see them performing it as well. Top 5 and v for vision sound like demos sm would’ve bought as b sides. What is their performance director doing? Mark is gone but Jaehyun is back make it special put on a show. lol am i being extra what do you guys think?

What is the end goal of NCT at this point?

Quel est l'objectif final de NCT à ce stade ?
J'ai pensé à l'avenir de NCT dernièrement, surtout avec les compositions actuelles étant plus petites et plus séparées qu'avant.
NCT 127 a maintenant 5 membres (7 with🐰🐶 in SM), WayV 5 , NCT DREAM 6 et NCT WISH 6.

So for those who actually won (or knew people who won) the Kpop Nara 127 fansign, how many albums did you/they buy?

I’m curious on to how it compares to domestic fansigns. Also curious to how much one should spend for future fan signs with Kpop Nara for them or an artist of a similar caliber as them.
