Hi, so I'm getting NITK Mech and IIEST CS. I'm genuinely interested in tech for a long time. I am considering NITK Mech due to clg prestige and am considering doing a cs minor. Is it possible to pivot from mech to tech jobs? Can seniors who did it tell me how they did it and how hard it was? Or should i just go with IIESTS CS.

Hi, i'm getting IT at NIT K in 2nd round and i have some questions related to the college. It would be great if someone could give detailed answers for these questions.
Are the hostel rooms good? Is sharing compulsary for first year students or is it possible to get a single room? Is it possible to get a room outside campus if you're not satisfied with the hostel rooms?
Are there western toilets? More importantly are these toilets and bathrooms clean and hygienic?
What things should i bring (like mattress etc)?
What is the criteria for joining clubs? I'm a beginner guitarist and interested in joining the music club, is there a certain skill requirement? Also am i allowed to bring my acoustic guitar in hostel room?
Is there any kind of discrimination, bullying or ragging?
Anything that i should revise from jee syllabus?
Im learning python is that helpful for the IT branch?

Can someone tell what's different between these...ik that karavali is older and shivalik is newer...but I wanna ask about room size and bathrooms and all. And also how it is compared to trishul ?
I heard that shivalik room size is smaller compared to karavali. Also I have seen in one of the photos, they give recliner chairs ? Also what's the scene of bathrooms and all ...are there showers also ? ...also please add anything I may have missed.

I don't have specific interest towards any branch although I'm slightly inclined towards some electrical course like ece or eee. I want idea about mechanical at nitk. Please guide me...
I heard that the profs at NITW are the worst of god’s creations-plus the shitty college life at NITW is making me think twice. I want to get into chip design or avionics . both of which require me to pursue higher studies, and a senior of mine told me Nit warangal is a not a good place for that.
