I got this in forst round and i wanna ask does all the companies that shows on google do come to college during placement month or not every one come cuz of not that convenient transportation or pahadi elaka....

Why these newcomers hating this college so much 🙃I mean if you appreciate the clean and good environment of NITH you must sacrifice and missing city life, a sentiment often shared by those who choose this college. Faculty quality can be inconsistent, even in institutions like the IITs. Regarding senior bonding, it's important to remember that such connections often require your initiative; rather than waiting for seniors to approach you, actively seek out opportunities to engage with them I am sure you will find the best bonding ever.

Yeah, there are some problems in this college, but college is not a 5-star fairy world place. You learn a lot here; you make bonds here facing these struggles..

I don't know why I'm posting it in Hamirpur's subreddit but I'm most probably getting this college so you guys can tell more about necessary items.

What are the basic amendments I should make during packing, anything that you guys felt you should've brought the first time you got there. Keeping in mind my home is really far away so I won't be able to make casual trips to get any stuff.

Matter of fact, give me a list of things I should keep and others add to it if you feel the OG is missing something. ;)

I was scrolling on insta the other day and randomly saw a text request so I opened it ( thinking it might have been some random meesho ka link or whatever) but it was some junior introducing themselves -- let's call him Tony.

So Tony started the Convo rather normally , college kaisa hai , log kaise hai , campus kaisa hai blah blah and I was fine with giving him answers too

Then Tony went on to say that he knew another senior and asked if I know that senior too

Abhi tk theek hai sab , normal baaten

Then one day he asked where I was from , I didn't tell Tony cause junior or not Tony is still a stranger..

Then man said I was Pak se.. 😭🙏🏽 idek why

I asked him what kaam kya hai then he went onto how " mera banda to hoga hi nahi with this attitude"

Even before this he asked a few weird questions ki girls hostel mai drgs hote hai ya nahi ( he ain't no woman 😭)

And he randomly calls me " miss senior " in between Convo (💀 like wha?)

I told him if he has college se related query feel free to text otherwise timepass mt kr

😭 Uske baad bhi kid was like " aap mc Donalds gayi ho? Aapko udhr miss donald (idfk) ka award denge wo log"

After all this kid had the audacity to ask (after a few days) ki if we can be friends

😭

This is no crazy lore or story , magar future jungooss don't be like Tony..

If you wanna be friends then shuru se to tameez se raho😭😭😭

Actually I am very confused ,among these two.

As I always wanted an nit tag

But I am not getting good nit except Hamirpur.

I have seen many are saying to take dtu over nit Hamirpur as nit Hamirpur location is not good and even placements.

And many are saying nit has a tag.

Now what to do??

How do u guys get past the restrictions , i mean if u have to call ur parents everytime u go out of the college gate , also can we go and come into the college at any time on holidays or sunday saturday ( basically non-working days ) ? Some of my frnds even said tht if u are in 3rd or 4th year u don't have to call ur guardians ? Is tht true .
