I heard nit raipur doesn't gives hostels to core branches.Will it be a problem?Package in MME?Future options?

Hey seniors just wanted to ask you what's your opinion on mining engineering at nit Raipur I mean does mining branch has good potential and future and what about placement scenario specifically of mining branch

Hello everyone in the last post we launched afwaah, in the hope assuming that we would get a good response and people would join it voluntarily and it would be fun.

But since 12 hours after the lauch we had a mere of 50-60 visitors and 10-15 active participant in this time.

See, there lies no point for us to keep the site live if no one is interested to use it!

So again would like you to give a review and share your thoughts whether if you felt it's unnecessary or there are issues in the site.

Incase, you loved it do share and promote it.

For context jee khatam ho gya hai aese bhi kuch khas nhi padhai ki have been alotter nit Raipur…. Guys bahut bore ho rha hai….. nothing to do all day just nothing guys no social interaction all day just behind screen…. Suggest something guys all anime all series all games already explored played during my two years of intense jee preparation..

Hey everyone, as i earlier posted on this sub that we are working on a chat site for the campus!

The site is live at- Afwaah

Do check it out.

For now you only have the feature to chat and navigate through the main building, we will add more features later on.

also for now we've made the site open for everyone irrespective of the location you're currently at.

So, all the freshers and seniors can interact and the freshers joining this yr can ask doubts, discuss, rant whatever they want to do anonymously..later on once the new sem starts we will restrict the area and you can chat only if you're in the campus or nearby.

A request to all the students of nitrr and the freshers to please promote this site amoung your WhatsApp group and batchmates.

All the suggestions and contributions are welcome for now please dm on this id if you find any issue or bug.

This site is made by the students of nitrr and it is for the student for NITRR.

Guys i got nit raipur IT please tell about this clg . whatever u know mess , hostel, gym etc

Hey, for the past week we have been working on a project where we can rant/discuss/discuss insights/rumours/rumoured relnships/placements and etc insights. and facts that most of us aren't aware about meantime leaving the user anonymous(no login/registration).

On top of it the room could be created for a duration of an hour after which all the chats would be disappeared and no history would be retained. Hence, enabling you to discuss what you won't be doing on your WhatsApp group/hostel friends/.

Also we are planning to add the section named ask senior where you can get the relevant resources and help from seniors later on.

Also we would be keeping it exclusive only for the campus.

If the idea feels good to you and you feel that this would works do upvote..and have better ideas you would like to be implemented than Suggestions are welcome!!

I got IT and have chances of getting CSE in later rounds.

Could you guys give a clear picture of current scenario for both the branches.

I am targeting placements in software roles

I have heard IT is chill here while CSE would be better if i wanna pursue masters in future ( i am not sure about it though )
