Do ISB and SPJIMR consider NMIMS Mumbai main campus good college for profile?

Hey everyone,
This post is for ALL PGDM 2026-28 students across India who are facing fee refund issues this admission season.
What happened?
AICTE released the Academic Calendar 2026-27 on 2nd June 2026 — giving students just 21 days to withdraw with full refund. The deadline was 23rd June 2026.
No prior notice. No awareness. Nothing.
Compare this with previous years:
2024-25 → September 11, 2024
2025-26 → Extended to August 21, 2025
2026-27 → Suddenly June 23, 2026
AICTE moved the deadline 2+ months earlier than previous years without any adequate communication to students. Most of us were waiting for July/August deadlines like every previous year — because that’s what AICTE always did.
The ground reality:
Thousands of students across India were still in the middle of their admission decisions in late June — comparing offers, waiting for IIM/top college results, evaluating scholarships. Nobody expected a June 23 cutoff.
Students who withdrew on June 24, 25, 26, 27 — before the course even started on July 1 — are now being told by their colleges:
❌ No full refund
❌ Refund only if seat gets filled
❌ Pro-rata deductions will apply
We never attended a single class. The course hadn’t even started.
What AICTE must do:
Last year when a similar situation arose, AICTE extended the deadline from July 31 to August 21, 2025. They can and must do the same this year.
We are asking AICTE to extend the fee refund deadline to at least July 31, 2026 — giving students who withdrew before course commencement their rightful full refund minus ₹1,000 as per Clause 8.18.1 of the AICTE Approval Process Handbook.

Hi , so like many other posts in this subreddit , I will start with my profile 97.33/92/7.41 in 10th/12th/UG.
I joined Mechanical Engineering in a decent NIT just so that I could carry a tag of Govt College and eventually do an MBA and switch to corporate roles .
I joined career launcher last year in this very time but in this 1 year I have hardly averaged 1 hour per day as I was really struggling in college and had to get my college exams right .
Now I tried my best to increase my intensity but I am struggling with DILR (like a lot , even one set seems like a huge thing) . My VARC is lacking in accuracy while quant is decent . But DILR is scaring me away form attempting my 1st mock
Secondly I am really confused about my life and I am sometimes crying at 2 am . I really don't wish to join a core engineering job which requires me to work in industries(if I don't manage CAT) .
And on top of that what being A gem fresher it doesn't end even after a good paper.
I would really love some guidance hope or some practical optimism if I can atleast get 1 decent mba admit after graduation so that I don't have to go for college placements . I am giving 2026 CAT
And for me decent admit would mean atleast NMIMS mumbai core ,IIFT delhi or IIM Trichy. Will I manage or how much percentile will I need .
I am going through a bad phase and really need support so please be kind to me . And if anyone has read message till here and feels for me , I sincerely thank and I hope u get blessed with all the happiness in life. Please help me direction my ruined life
I gave CAT 2025 and scored about 91 percentile and 92 percentile in SNAP, converted all tier 2 bschools like SIOM Nashik, SIIB, SIBM Bengaluru but didnt join any.... Meanwhile I joined TCS from June (salary is 51k inhand)... Due to job pressure, somewhat I feel I wont be able to make it to the IIMs ... so if I convert similar colleges again then should I leave my job and pursue MBA or continue with my job (I am fed up with these entrance exams so CAT and SNAP 2026 will be my last attempt)
Need some unbiased career advice.
My profile:
B.Com graduate , 21 years old
ACCA Professional level student
Planning to pursue CFA
I have currently started my MBA at NMIMS Mumbai but I’m having doubts because:
The placement process/report doesn’t feel very transparent.
The batch size is very large.
I’m worried about the ROI.
The cohort seems older on average than I expected, with many students having significant work experience, and I’m concerned about how that affects placements and peer learning as a fresher.
The overall experience so far hasn’t met my expectations. I’m planning to discontinue the course as a result.
Given my profile, would you continue with NMIMS or leave and build your profile through work experience before pursuing a top MBA later?
Looking for honest opinions.

I'm trying to compare the undergraduate programs at NMIMS ASMSOC purely from a career perspective
How would you rank these programs?
- IPM (Integrated BBA-MBA)
- B.Sc. Finance
- BBA
- BBA FinTech
- B.Com (Hons.)
I'd especially love to hear from current students, alumni, or recruiters who have seen these programs firsthand rather than just going by brochures.
