I really wanted to join the Galactic Hub, so I've been grinding through the wiki and trying my best, but there are way too many elements and I'm totally overwhelmed. Do I actually need to submit an application to join? Are there specific rules or conditions for where I'm allowed to build a base? Or is it already fully packed and closed to newcomers?

I keep trying to build a base on uthmi beta and some cocksucker in a red suit keeps coming over and fucking with me.. I dont know their name but damn... everytime I try to settle into the GH I get effed with.. what gives? He did it twice tonight.. I have pvp turned off but why do people keep coming and fucking with me? WTF?

I honestly can't believe it's been 10 years.

We started this journey alone, exploring a vast universe, uncovering it's secrets.

But over time as the game evolved so did we. We built civilisations, we colonised worlds, we built impossible structures, created wikis filled with our discoveries, we established whole communities pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the simulation (and outside of it).

We stopped merely discovering the story and became part of the lore.

So thank you to HG for never giving up on our shared dream and continuing to support it.

Thank you to this community for years of friendship and exploring together.

Hopefully our journey will continue for many years to come!

I'm going to school to be an aerospace architect in real life and I'm highly interested in building both a Private and Public Senate building in NMS which would function as a meeting place for actual ELECTED senate members (dedicated NMS players) to sit and discuss NMS related issues, topics, and interests that could eventually be voiced to Hello Games directly through the elected Senate Chancellor. Laws could be made which players could choose to follow or not (be an outlaw or citizen, no harsh punishments for either), beneficial changes to the game can be made, and player voices can have a semi-direct link to the people that run the game.

Would this interest anyone? I'd hate to build this thing and have no one show up or take part in this (admittedly ambitious) idea.

If this gets an overwhelming amount of support, I'd like to volunteer myself as the first candidate to run for a Senate Chair member position!

Applications for Aeon City are now being accepted! The city is still expected to open sometime in March, though early-to-mid April remains a possibility.

Before you begin your application, note:

• The application is somewhat long. Many questions are optional, but the more questions you can answer (excluding the Opinion Survey section), the more likely you are to be admitted.
• One question will require you to upload a screenshot of your character. This question is fully optional for general access to the city, but required if you want to obtain one of the just-for-fun ID cards I'll be issuing to Aeon City residents.
• One question asks for your shipping info. This is fully optional and will only be used to send out commemorative physical merch which we may or may not create to celebrate Aeon City's opening.
