BEWARE OF METROPOLITAN PROPERTY GROUP LISTINGS!!!

This is the second time we traveled into the city to see a unit they listed on StreetEasy, and they were unresponsive during our scheduled time. The first time, we had to wait opver an hour past our scheduled time, and we saw a two bedroom that was not a true two bedroom. One of the "bedrooms" was a closet. When I looked back at the listing, you could tell the listing was AI generated. The heater was double the size in one picture.

PRO TIP: Want to make sure the listing photos are legit, look at "past listing photos" and compare the previous years before AI ruined the real estate search.

This second time, after multiple emails and calls, they finally call us and tell us they will be another hour. When I looked and realized it was the same property group that stood us up the first time, we asked why there was a delay and explained we had traveled. They were extremely rude. They were completely dismissive of our time.

They are taking advantage of how saturated the NYC housing market is at the moment, and they are giving people the run-around all over NYC. They should be delisted from StreetEasy and their license revoked. These are the two buildings were we went to see the listings:

  • 366 W 52nd st.
  • 405 W 45th st.

These are all the units they currently have listed. I don't want any of you going through what we just went through:

Where to find brick or concrete wall apartments?

Hi all, I'm an undergrad-level classical piano student who also works a full-time job and am moving to NYC in the next few months.

Without yet being in the city, how can I search for apartments that are either brick or concrete so I can avoid disturbing my neighbors while still practicing hours a day on a baby grand piano? (upright and digital pianos are very much not the same)

I'm not picky at all about amenities,

I didn't see any options to filter by building construction on StreetEasy or Zillow- is there something I missed?

3bd/2bath Bed-Stuy Brownstone $1367/month each. seeking 2 roommates to re-sign for 10/1 (women 23+ only please)

Hii!! I am looking to re-sign a 12 month lease in this lovely bed-study brownstone for $1367 per month each beginning 10/1, pets not allowed unfortunately.

This is the 3rd floor of a quaint brownstone with tons of natural light and nice views, lots of greenery.

I have been here with 2 others for a year now and would like to find 2 others who are clean and communicative to take over for my current roommates who are moving on elsewhere.

Each bedroom easily fits a queen bed as well as large furniture pieces and features a spacious double door closet

2 full bathrooms shared between us so you’ll never be left waiting lol. Kitchen features all appliances including a dishwasher and a W/D in unit, gas oven/stove as well.

About me: I am 28F just finishing up my very first year living in the city working in marketing, I am very tidy and like to avoid messes, very friendly (imo haha). Open to being friends or just staying cordial roommates.

When it comes to chores we can obviously share the burden between us, aside from that I only ask that you can clean up after cooking and avoid leaving dishes in the sink.

We like to keep shoes off in the apartment and since we are on the top floor we have been using the stairwell outside our door to store shoes so that will help to give you even more space.

We are only a 5 minute walk from A(express) and c(local train at the Utica Ave station, 15 minutes to downtown Brooklyn, 20 to FiDi/Manhattan.

Neighborhood is very safe and this street is sandwiched between 2 schools so lots of families, never have had any issues.

Feel free to leave a comment with any questions or DM me to schedule a tour!! 😊

Requirements from building management:

• A completed rental application form
• Scans of photo ID (front and back)
• 2024 and 2025 tax returns
• Proof of current employment/income
• 2 most recent bank statements

If the applicants do not meet the 40x income requirement, we will need all of the above from a guarantor as well, and a signed and notarized guaranty form completed before the lease could be executed.

Looking for someone to take a private room in a fully furnished 4-bed, 2-bath suite at The Reserve in East Harlem.
