Law student looking for roommates in Queens! (m24)

I (24m) am an incoming law student at St. John's. Looking for someone (or multiple people) to split rent with for a lease that would ideally begin Aug. 1 or Aug. 15. My budget is around $1500 per person or less. I'm open to any neighborhood around the school or anywhere on a bus line.

I don't drink/smoke, am clean, and keep to myself. I have an adult cat I'd be bringing along, he's super chill and sleeps for pretty much the whole day.

No worries if you aren't a law student or are working etc. -- I can live with anyone :)

Looking for 2-3 roommates to look for an APT, Aug 31/Sept 1

Hey all! I’m Ángel, 23, looking for 2-3 roommates to find a place in Bushwick or Bedstuy. Budget is $1200-1500, move-in date Sept 1, looking for something longer-term (1 year+).

I moved to NYC in May from MA, though my family’s in the Bronx, so I’ve been coming here my whole life. I work with college students, helping them start and run social justice organizations on their campuses.

Outside of work, I love spending time outdoors, listening to jazz, cooking meals, and making new friends. I’m also a proud plant dad 🙂

Looking for people my age who want to build a real home together, put effort into shared spaces, and become genuine friends, not just live as strangers under one roof.

DM me if this sounds like your vibe :)

Need a Roommate(s), 25F

Moving out of my apt in mid-August and need a new roommate (or two) since my old one found love and moved out.

I’m an actor (so I will need someone who is okay with me sometimes using the common area to film/being loud on occasion if I need to rehearse or do a self-tape). But the day job is personal training, so I won’t be in the house all the time, don’t worry! I like to sing around the house sometimes, but respect quiet hours and need my quiet time as much as the next person.

I’m bubbly but an ambivert, so it’s cool if we want to be friends and hang, also cool if we keep to ourselves but keep it friendly/respectful! My main thing is just cleanliness. I’m okay if it gets a little cluttered sometimes, but I have never lived with rats/roaches/mice and don’t want to start! (Also hair left in the shower gives me the heebiejeebies). I value communication and am fine having difficult conversations if we need to re-assess boundaries/living habits so we’re both happy. :)

Have never been late on rent and have a good credit score. Am queer and need my roommate to be LGBT/human rights friendly as well. I loveee animals but don’t have one. I’m fine if you have a pet/would love if it would be possible in the future to get a small cat/dog (but that’s not a dealbreaker).

My max is $1.5K and I’d love to find a spot with in-unit/in-building laundry. If not, a nearby laundromat will do.

Am open to almost any area of BK, so long as it’s not too south (talking Coney Island/Kensington/Dyker Heights). Would ideally like to be closer to Park Slope/Gowanus since I work around there, but am fine so long as I’m close to a G/N/R/D/F train. Also open to lower Manhattan/west Queens if needed, so long as it’s near one of those lines.

Roommate for Bklyn apt search 8/1 or 8/15

Hello! I’m a 30y/o woman about to start looking for a new place preferable in central Brooklyn (Crown Heights, Park Slope, Bed Stuy etc) and I’m looking for 1 or 2 roommates to search with. My max budget is ~$2200 (so maybe around $4,000 for a 2-bed) and I’m looking for a spot that has a nice, day lit living space, is close to the train, has decently sized bedrooms— basically not a shoebox. Lease at least a year if not more.

I am an architect who mostly works in the office. I enjoy being friends with my roommates but also like to maintain a calm and tidy environment, and it would be great to really create a cozy and well-decorated home together. Would love to live with other queer/nerdy/artsy people but open to anyone!

DM me if it sounds like we’d be a good match and you’re looking to move in somewhere sometime in August!

$950 - Small Interior Room Available 124 Seigel Street

We're looking for a roommate to join our spacious 4-bedroom apartment in East Williamsburg starting August 1.

The apartment includes:

- Large, sunny open-concept living room and kitchen

- Modern kitchen

- Dishwasher

- Washer/dryer in-unit

- Central A/C and heat

- Large shared bathroom

- Roof and courtyard access

- Subways: Montrose L, Flushing JM, and a walk to Broadway G

The available room is small and does not have a window, but there are 2 egress points in and out, and it's a great option for someone looking to keep housing costs reasonable while enjoying a spacious, well-furnished apartment in a fantastic neighborhood. The previous occupant happily lived in the room for five years, and we're hoping to find someone who's looking for another long-term home.

You'll be living with three roommates (one man and two women). We often have different schedules so it rarely feels like we are 4 in the apt. We're all working professionals (Hydroponic Lab, The Strand, Dance Teacher) who are respectful, clean, and value a peaceful home environment. We're looking for someone who is similarly considerate, pays rent on time, and is interested in a stable living situation.

Details:

- Rent: $950/month

- Utilities average $90/month

- Available: August 1

- Move-in: First month's rent + one month's security deposit

- 420 friendly, but no tobacco smoking or nicotine vapes inside the apartment

- The room will be unfurnished. Happy to assist you in finding furnishings

- Rent Stabilized

- No couples

- No pets

If you're interested, send us a message with a little about yourself (work, schedule, hobbies, and what you're looking for in a shared apartment). We'll be scheduling viewings beginning next week.
