🧭🗺️

The great map of the New World of the Warhammer universe, divided into two large assembled maps, that of Naggaroth and Ulthuan and that of Lustria, made on private commission by a great lover of Warhammer Fantasy Rpg! The final map was created with a size of 1 meter by 45 cm... one of the largest maps we have ever made so far! It was really fun to work on and we are very happy that it is part of a much larger project! We really hope you enjoy it!😊🗺🧭

Materials Used: H-HB pencil, Unipin Pen 0.05-0.1, and Winsor and Newton watercolors on Fabriano 300 g satin paper then scanned.

Sorceress on Dark Pegasus

A daunting kitbash and the wings took me like seven tries until I got them right. Although I think it's not my best paintjob I am so happy to have finished it and can't wait to play my first Dark Elves game with this lady leading the army!

the tragic fate of Lhunara Ithil (Malus Darkblade spoilers!!!)

I just finished the Malus Darkblade series (by Dan Abnett and Mike Lee) and I wanted to discuss the tragic fate of Lhunara Ithil and Malus Darkblade’s greatest betrayal.

I listened to the first audibook twice and I was still surprised when it was revealed in the fifth book that Lhunara had been in love with Malus. I always thought it was tragic that he “killed” her in book one, but I never picked up on any of the hints in her dialogue that implied she was in love.

Also, I used to think that Malus murdered all of his retainers at the end of book one because he wanted to keep the daemon’s curse a secret. However, Malus willingly reveals that secret both to his retainer Arleth Vann in book four and to Hauclir in book five.

I think now that the real reason he killed Lhunara and the others was out of shame, which took me a while to understand. The way I think of it, Malus’ pride was so great that he couldn’t allow his followers to live with the knowledge of his failure, including his most loyal retainer Lhunara. It was his most selfish act.

However, I think Malus became so desperate and lost that sense of pride as the story progressed, which leads him to reveal the daemon’s curse to Arleth Vann and Hauclir. He even goes out of his way to use the daemon’s power to heal Hauclir’s mortal wound at the very end.

It’s tragic that, if Malus hadn’t been so full of pride, Lhunara could have been spared and most likely she would have helped him in his quest to gather the five relics. In addition, Lhunara would have never become a Chaos lord, damning her soul to Chaos just like Malus’ own soul. She also wouldn’t have lead a horde that slaughtered thousands of druchii.

There’s one thing I had a question about. Malus says “I know” after Lhunara (as a chaos lord in book five) confesses that she once loved him, right before Malus smashes her skull. How long do you think he knew? Cause if he knew from the beginning thats just so fucking sad man.
