5 washes in so far I’m thinking next month ima give them a bath again keep getting baby spit up or food on them and I just use a wet wipe and a lint roller in between I wanna say thank you to @naked and famous crew (Terry, Garret and don vin ) for giving me two shout outs on their denim live stream if you guys love raw denim like I know you do you should subscribe to their YouTube page they have live streams every Thursday 5pm pst with only two more months left in the indigo invitational I doubt these are going to lose anymore indigo blowouts are already forming and remedied in the crotchal region going from cuffs to stack every other week I usually rock a card case from brave star in my back right pocket and a 1935 zippo in my (coin) pocket cell in my left pocket

I made a decision this year that I wanted to start buying more Made in Canada things, to avoid money going south. Also, after dropping about 65lbs my weight had leveled out and I figured it was time to get some new clothes.

Being no stranger to spending too much on Japanese quality (my Chef's knife collection is out of control), I started with some core stretch selvedge from Simmons... and fell down the rabbit hole from there.

I tried on the naked and famous true girl 28 (first pic) and it was too tight and the 30 is too big.

The Maudie fits me perfectly in a 27 (second pic).

I found the true girl chocolate denim on sale but it’s final sale and nervous to buy it but kinda slightly confident that 29 would be in my size in these. I do have a smaller waist and bigger thighs so that’s why I’m a wee bit nervous. The 30 fit my legs fine but way too big in the waist.

the sale price is $140! And don’t want to miss out on the deal.

Any advice? Dare I take the risk and they fit perfectly or if they don’t I guess I could resell? 🤔

These are fairly new with minimal wear. Got these on the reissue earlier this year. Epic Texture. Hairy and neppy, and after a first soak (these come unsanforized, so I started with a hot soak) they Develop an awesome rough texture, while remaining pretty comfortable.

I had a bit of chaffing at my knees in the first few wears but that has subsided and these are pretty comfortable now.

Pictured in the Weird Guy. Tag Size 36 (shrunk to just slightly bigger than a tag size 34 after the hot soak).

T-shirt is the Wonder Looper Double Heavyweight in Sumi Ink. This tee is 💯, fits so well, (I’m a size L, 6’1, 200lb) and has a flattering drape that masks my dad bod.

Received my GORAL x Naked & Famous Denim sneakers today, #11 of 90 pairs.

I’m a US 10.5, followed the GORAL size chart, and ordered a UK 9.5. They’re a perfect fit, lightweight and comfortable out of the box.

The nice thing about preorders is I paid for them long enough ago that it doesn’t hurt anymore, LOL.

Now to figure out which jeans to wear. Need to show these off.

I just got my first pair of n&f denim — my only concern is that even though I have some room in the waist, the thigh bit is a little snug, should I size up or is it just a matter of breaking them in?

Unfortunately the inside tag is cut off (why do people do this lol) so I'm not sure what this is. I'm thinking it's either a normal black or japan heritage black but it also has some deep blue undertones under the very bizzarly shiny outside. Speaking of... Why is it so reflective???

Found it while thrifting so I have no more info. If any of y'all know anything about it I'd appreciate the knowledge 😁
