Anything else to help her?

Long shot here, but I will be on island from Wednesday until Monday the 24th and would love to get out and do some fishing while there but I am not really in a position to charter a boat, as it would only be me and the cost is too much to absorb.
That said, I would gladly throw some money into someone’s gas tank if they were headed out on a trip and wanted to let me join.
I’m in my mid 40s, have a good amount of experience on boats and have my own gear available so I won’t be a total leach; just looking to catch some blues for the first time in a long time.

My friend and her daughter were totally scammed by an AirBnB listing on Nantucket last weekend. It was advertised as a separate apartment, but the front door, kitchen, small common area and bathroom were SHARED with two other bedrooms. To make matters worse, these were grown men who work at the restaurant owned by the AirBnB host. This is totally misleading and a complete lie and horrifically UNSAFE for a woman and her teenage daughter.
AirBnB was contacted and they refunded the money, but they took no other responsibility and blamed the owner (who blamed AirBnB) and did not work to help them find a place to stay even though they were completely STRANDED. The entire island was SOLD OUT (this happens on Saturday nights in August on Nantucket) and they ended up staying in a neighbor's extra apartment that took pity on them standing on the side of the road trying to find a place to stay. Thank God there are kind, caring people out there!

Hey everyone, I want to go to Nantucket for the Motion City Soundtrack show at The Muse on September 24th. AFAIK The last ferry back to Hyannis leaves at 9:20 PM and the concert is at 9:30. there is a 6:30 ferry the next morning, so I need to find somewhere to crash for just a few hours afterward, nothing fancy, just somewhere to sleep cheaply until I can catch that early ferry.
I've looked at hotels and Airbnbs and they're all $300 plus. I would take a hostel bunk, shared room, even a couch if someone had one available. Are there any budget lodging options on the island I'm missing? there doesn't appear to be any campgrounds, and you can't camp on the public land. do any locals have suggestions for how to handle situations like this?
There was no 10th, and no word on the 20th. I moved a while ago, and I may like to visit the island next year... would make sense to time it around this. Anyone privy?

Hi all! Making the trip to the island for a QuinnXCII concert at The Muse this weekend and not sure what to expect! The venue looks quite small, concert is at 10, doors open at 8. Im the kind of person that wants to be right at the front and will arrive as early as necessary to do so. What time do you think is necessary to arrive to be sure I'm at the front? We are staying walking distance from the venue which makes things easier. What's the bathroom situation? What's the after concert vibe/are there nearby bars that the artists tend to frequent post concert? Thanks for any info, excited to see everyone who goes!!
