Hi all, I wanted to ask you all for your opinion on AI generated content on the sub. What is your preference for how this should be dealt with?

The Veterans: Napoleonic Wars DMCA drama just took a wild turn. As of today, the game's Steam page is suddenly reappearing for some users.

Why today? It’s been exactly 12 business days since the devs filed their counter-notice. Under the DMCA, if an accuser doesn't file a federal lawsuit within a strict 10-to-14 business day window, Steam is legally obligated to restore the game.

It strongly looks like the accuser may not have escalated to a lawsuit. Right on cue, the developers also dropped a new blog showing their maps being built from absolute scratch—a very strategic PR move to try and prove original work.

I just put together a quick video breaking down this legal timeline, the new dev blog, and what this means for the original asset-flip allegations.

What do you guys think? Did the accuser back down to avoid court fees, or is there more to this?

I can't make videos to save my life and I want to make a mod trailer for a modder (RedHornet) to better help advertise his mod and get people into the discorder. The mod being called Napoleon Total war Eras mod. I can provide music for the trailer as well as some battle videos to help make the video. As well as getting screenshots of personal review, screen shots, etc

A friend and I have just started playing Total War Napoleon, we need two more players—or even just one—for multiplayer matches. Basically, we're looking for someone to join us for multiplayer.

Here are my questions because it is a nightmare to find any more deeper knowledge on the actual mechanics on game so by that I mean

Accuracy and reload skill modifiers

Square formation modifiers

Melee and defence and charge bonus

Fatigue debuffs/buffs

Effects of terrain

And anything else that can be found etc.

I’ve noticed something, whenever I’m laying siege, and the defender comes out to attack me, my deployment zone on the battle map will ALWAYS be the side with the city. Even though I’m the one who is laying siege. It doesn’t make sense, as I’m driving around the city, and now all the sudden I’m in the city.

Super annoying. Is there a fix for this? Does anyone else experience this?

i dont have anything against the mod inherently, but i just got into it too late. the 20 year old me would've loved this, but it gets tedious at times to middle-aged me, mainly bc i just dont have the bandwidth or desire to play every non-one-sided battle.

i dont think the AI is significantly better than the vanilla version, so i spend all my time pushing these giant, unwieldy, amorphous units around the map. it just feels like work, which is what i try to expressly avoid in my limited gaming free time.

Hello guys I have a really big problem. I don’t really enjoy this game anymore. Zero to none replayability in SP. Yeah ok the Napoleon campaigns are fun but once you’ve played them once or twice it’s done. I’ve played the coalition some times but nothing more. I’m playing with the vanilla enhanced mod and the 4GB patch. Any good mods? I’ve tried darth but it seems a bit old. I can’t download the NTW3 because I think my system would be slow on this mod. Is LME4 any good? How can I download it? Thank you all very much!
