Thinking of making some Dorok warrior inspired minis

Had this idea after coming across these miniatures from a game called Konflict 47. Immediately thought about Doroks! Thoguht I would use the bodies from 1 kit and the heads/random pieces from the other.

I've been making some Nausicaa-inspired guys for 40k and these guys seem like they'd be perfect, but I wanted to get some input from people before I went for it.

Any other minis or something you guys know about that would work well? Or ways I could capture the aesthetic?

Nausicaa print

Got it at Hero Complex Gallery if you're interested, a little small but it's my favorite Ghibli movie. #15/60

People of the Desert (Sabaku no Tami) 1969

I found out that there are very few mentions of this first manga of Hayao Miyazaki (and the prequel to Nausicaa, though story is not related - like Shuna's Journey), and there was only one link that is now dead.

I found this website where you can read it: https://ghiblicon.blogspot.com/2011/04/miyazakis-first-manga-people-of-desert.html There is a lot of great other content on this website - arts, rare manga pages, comic strips, etc.

Content warning: it's rather grim.
