Never got the chance to play this, so I'm glad developers are bringing it back via other methods.

This is not the first post about this. Since the only ones I was able to find were at least five to eight months old, I decided to bring this topic up again to see if anyone has found a new or definitive solution.

Since the launch date of the Red Dead Redemption "Netflix Version," I’ve been trying to download and play the game on my iPhone 11. The error repeats itself over and over again: I download the app from the App Store, open it, and choose my Netflix profile (the account is automatically logged in because I have the Netflix app on my phone). It says that there is a "Download Required" of approximately 3.73GB, but asks if I want to download now or wait for Wi-Fi (although I'm already connected to my home network, which is weird).

No matter which option I choose, it proceeds to download the "final resources" (aka additional content), gets stuck at 99%, says my storage is full with an "Unknown Error" message hiding behind the pop-up dialogue box, and asks me to try again after freeing up at least 7.84GB.

I’ve tried checking my storage countless times. Since my phone only has 64GB of storage, I keep a close eye on it, and I definitely have more than 7.84GB of free space. I tried downloading it on my wife's phone as well, an iPhone SE 2 with 128GB of storage, with 30GB+ of those free, aand got the exact same error.

This doesn't seem to be an isolated problem, as other users have reported the same or similar problems related to storage and additional content.

I've tried searching online for possible fixes, like force-closing the app and trying to download the additional files over and over again, but nothing has worked so far.

Is anyone still facing this same issue? Did anything actually work for you? It's been more than 8 months since the game was released, and it is just annoying that this is still a problem.
