I built PinMovies.com - a free tool to check Netflix availability in 60+ countries (20,000+ titles, no ads, no signup)
Hey everyone! I wanted to share a project I have been working on called PinMovies (https://pinmovies.com). It is a free Netflix region checker that lets you search over 20,000 movies and shows to see exactly which countries they are streaming in. No account needed, no intrusive ads, and it works great on mobile.
Here is what you can do on PinMovies:
SEARCH ANY NETFLIX TITLE INSTANTLY
Type any movie or show name into the search bar and get results in seconds. You will see which countries currently have it on Netflix, ratings from IMDb and Rotten Tomatoes, runtime, content rating, awards, and a short overview. The database currently has 20,775+ titles and it keeps growing.

BROWSE BY GENRE
Not sure what to watch? You can browse the entire Netflix catalogue sorted by genre. There are 14 genre categories available:
- Action and Adventure
- Comedy
- Dramas
- Thrillers and Mysteries
- Horror
- Romance
- Fantasy and SciFi
- Anime
- Kids and Family
- Documentaries
- Music and Musicals
- Reality and Talk Shows
- Westerns
- Entertainment
Each genre page shows all matching titles with the number of countries where they are currently available.

BROWSE BY COUNTRY

BROWSE BY RELEASE YEAR
Looking for movies from a specific era? You can filter the Netflix catalogue by release year. Browse recent releases from 2026, 2025, and 2024. Or go back through the decades with ranges like 2010-2020, 2000-2010, 1990s, 1980s, 1970s, 1960s, 1950s, and even pre-1950s classics.
ADVANCED SEARCH FILTERS
The search page has filters that let you narrow down results by:
- Genre (14 categories)
- Release year
- Country reach (find titles available in many countries or only in a few)
- Sorting by title, year, or country count (most to fewest or fewest to most)
The "country reach" filter is especially useful. If you want to find hidden gems that are only streaming in 1 or 2 countries, you can sort by fewest countries. If you want widely available titles, sort by most countries.
MOST POPULAR THIS WEEK
The homepage shows a "Most Popular This Week" section based on what visitors are clicking the most. It updates frequently so you can see what titles are trending right now.
CAN'T WATCH IT IN YOUR COUNTRY?
Every movie page includes a section that tells you which countries have the title and which ones do not. If it is not available where you live, there is a guide on how to use a VPN to switch your Netflix region and stream it with your existing subscription. We have tested and reviewed VPN providers like NordVPN, PureVPN, IPVanish, and PrivadoVPN to help you pick the right one.

WHY PINMOVIES OVER UNOGS OR FLIXWATCH?
There are other Netflix availability tools out there, but here is what makes PinMovies different:
Faster search: Results load in under 5 seconds. No waiting around for slow queries.
Cleaner interface: No intrusive ads cluttering the screen. Just the information you need.
Mobile optimized: Designed from day one to work perfectly on phones and tablets.
20,000+ titles: One of the largest Netflix databases available, updated every 30 days.
Always free: No premium tiers, no limits on searches, no hidden costs. Use it as much as you want.
Region access tested: We actually verify which VPN tools work for switching Netflix regions. We don't just list affiliate links. We test them on real devices.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: How do I check if a movie is on Netflix in my country?
A: Just go to https://pinmovies.com and type the title into the search bar. Click on the result and you will see the full list of countries where it is currently streaming.
Q: Why is a movie available on Netflix in one country but not mine?
A: Netflix buys streaming rights from studios on a country-by-country basis. Licensing deals are different in every region, which means a movie can be on Netflix in Japan but not in the US, or available in Brazil but not in Germany. It is all about regional licensing.
Q: How can I watch Netflix movies from other countries?
A: You can use a VPN to change your connection to a country where the title is available. Then open Netflix and the library of that country will load. We have a comparison page with tested providers here: https://pinmovies.com/vpn-options
Q: Is PinMovies free to use?
A: Yes, completely free. No account required, no premium plans, no limits. We keep the site running through small affiliate commissions when users sign up for VPN services through our links.
Q: How often is the database updated?
A: We refresh our Netflix data every 30 days across all 60+ regions. The "Most Popular" section on the homepage updates more frequently based on visitor traffic.
Q: What makes PinMovies different from uNoGS or Flixwatch?
A: PinMovies is faster, cleaner, and more mobile friendly. We track 20,000+ titles across 60+ countries with no ads and no registration. Our search returns results in seconds, and we actually test the VPN recommendations we make.
The site is completely free and I built it because I was tired of not being able to find out which countries had the movies I wanted to watch. If you have ever searched "Is [movie] on Netflix?" and gotten frustrated by outdated or incomplete answers, this tool is for you.
