Authenticity

Hi all, I’m new to buying new rocks. I’ve just bought this pair off of vinted. They look real to me, but the only thing throwing me off is the lack of logo printed into the side of the boot on the leather.

Any thoughts ?

Thanks :)

Where to buy new rocks in the US?

Trying to get this exact pair but most of them seem to be located in the uk or the websites just seem a little sketchy. If not in the US i dont mind paying for extra shipping too much

Should I buy these?

Thinking of purchasing these, they look amazing, but im feeling a little skeptical and need some convincing. Are these worth it for 280? Also could anyone identify the model?

Has anyone had issues with sandals straps being extremely abrasive?

M-BIOS130-C7 is completely unwearable. The inner strap material feels like sandpaper and causes pain immediately. Very disappointing quality for this price. Would not recommend buying sandals from them.
Has anyone experienced this with New Rock sandals or this model specifically? If so, were you able to fix it somehow, or did they just stay unwearable?

Can anyone tell me what model these are?

I've had these for years, I got them from a thrift store before I even knew what New Rocks were. They are not reactor boots, or at least any reactors I've seen. Look at the sole, they don't have the middle metal piece, and they have a metal dome piece and a different toe tip style, also the heel of the sole is sort of squared off. They are extremely well made, and I am sure authentic, especially with how long I've had them in my collection. But I can't find any like them. Anyone have any ideas on model or approximately when they were manufactured?

selling a pair of neptunos EU38 womens 8.5 US

i bought these a few months ago and they were the wrong size! 😭 and im in the US so i got an extra 60 dollar bill on top of shipping from fedex because of the current tarrifs! im reselling them for around 250 to try and get some of that back so i can buy my corret size. if youre in the US and looking for new ones i have a pair + you can avoid the tarrifs! link to these on ebay

size 38EU and 8 in womens US sizing. brand new condition with the box i just tried them on a few times. EDIT they actually fit more like women’s size 8 in us sizing not 8.5

About to purchase this pair, should I worry?

Found this pair of vintage new rocks, allegedly, and I think they look really nice, but the insole looks pretty messed up. Is this cause for concern?

Taking care of the flame boots

Hi! I recently got a pair of older New Rock boots with grey flames on them and was wondering what products should I use on the flame parts as they really need some conditioning lol. I would also like them to be slightly darker, but still maintain the worn look.

I used black shoe cream on the black parts but left the flames as is for now as that is the only cream I own atm.

I looked into Bick4 (and the Bick1 cleaner and water proofing spray as they would come as a set), but that seems to be great for not changing the color which is not really what I'm after currently. Was also wondering about the care products New Rock has listed on their website, especially the shoe cream and if it affects the color in some way.

I'd also appreciate recomendations and tips for other care products like leather cleaners, water proofers ect. if any of yall have em! I really want these shoes to last as long as possible lol.

breaking in new rocks

hii i just got my new rocks(M-106-S119 Ankle Boot Imperfect) and im kinda scared about the stiffnes. The tongue keeps digging into my ancles and its applying too much pressure on the bridge of my foot even thoni feel like its still not laces up enough and my foot keeps moving insude(i have the correct size, if i were to go smaller my toes would be too snug)
will it get better? i wanted new rocks for mang years and i finally decided to pay the unholy price for them. shoud i wait, exchange for a diffrent model or give up on the brand i genuinely have no idea spending this much money on something and it not being perfect makes me nervous

How bad is the current sole quality really?

Hello!

I've been really keen on getting a pair of new new rocks, specifially the model M-OVERZTANK285-C2. I've read from multiple different sources how the quality has gone down hill etc. but I'm having a hard time understanding how bad the quality really is.

For context, I bought a pair of M.110-S1 a little over two years ago from a local shop that had them in stock and they have a rubbery sole. And imo they are okay quality expect the fact that I tied them too tight and one of the hooks ripped a little (I believe that was totally my fault tho,, not getting a pair with that type of hooks again!), but despite that I've found them pretty nice.

So what I'm really asking is, how bad is the sole material on the non-rubbery ones?

I've had bad experiences with cheaper (i.e. fast fashion quality) platforms, where the platform material has disintegrated and split almost immediately when the weather got colder (under 0 celsius) and I really would not want to get a pair of expensive boots just for them to do the same.

So yeah, I don't doubt that the quality is worse than years ago, but when it comes to cheaper shoes, how does the current quality compare?

is this model comfortable ?

So, I’m thinking about buying this New Rock model for my gf birthday. She already wears similar NR platform and high heels almost every day, but usually in shorter boots.

She’s wanted this pair for a long time, but she has pretty sensitive feet, so comfort is a really important factor before I buy them. I know New Rocks can sometimes take a while to break in, so I’d really like to hear from people who own this model, or something similar.

How comfortable are they once broken in? And roughly how long did it take before you could wear them without pain or discomfort? (model is M-236-S1)
