I recently made a professional, medical-related post. I wrote it entirely myself, and I have an academic background and a degree in this field. Out of nowhere, a suspected bot commented, accusing me of posting AI slop:

> lets be real, you weren't thinking any of this, this is just more AI bait

I replied to them:

> Six months on Reddit with 15,000 comments... are you sure you're not the AI bait? 😄

Looking at their profile, this user posts around 60 comments a day, which is completely unrealistic for a normal human being. Shortly after my reply, they seemingly used a bunch of alt accounts to mass-downvote me, nuking my karma straight into the negative.

Now, I can't post any useful information because of the low karma restrictions, even though I have actual expertise and genuinely want to share helpful insights.

What should I do? It honestly feels like bot farms have complete dominance over regular users at this point.

Ugh I’ve had this account for 15 years since I was a literal tiny kid and logged back in for first time since my Justin Bieber Stan era daysss and had No Karma left?? Idek what to do or how to build it back up or what I did send helppppp

Sometimes I see "Deleted by user" but there are still comments below.

Sometimes I see no hint that it was ever there.

If an account gets deleted, apparently the posts that that person made are still up, correct?

I deleted one post, but people were still able to comment (for a time).

Lastly, I gather that if a post/comment is going badly against a new user (sometimes I see similar posts get vastly different responses) it is best to delete it . . . based on this love of karma we all seek?

Do you have any advice on how to recover negative karma and participate better in communities?

Here we go:

- First of all, how long does it take a Reddit account to be a "non-noob" account?

- If I make a publication when my account has few days and a moderator gets down it, does it have any negative consecuences for my in Reddit? I mean, serius problems.

- If I upload a picture, for instance, and it´s nocked out in some community, can I use it in other subreddit?

I’m still pretty new to Reddit and trying to understand how things work here. I’d love to hear some common mistakes beginners make so I can avoid them early on.

I just can’t post hardly anywhere so I’m here I guess.

I’m new to Reddit and my account just reached 26 karma. At first I didn’t really understand what and how karma worked but a friend explained it to me later (I still have very low understanding of it though). I tried posting in some subreddits before and a few posts got deleted, so I wanted to ask if 26 karma is enough to post normally now or not. Also can posts getting deleted affect my account in any way?

Every time I try posting in certain communities it either gets removed instantly or buried. I get why they do it, but what’s the best way for a new account to actually build credibility here?

I am trying to sell my Iron Bed and Mattress on Reddit but all the marketplace subreddits will filter my post possibly because I am new. Need some support here.
