Why are teachers asking these questions?
So this week marks the maiden voyage of the controversial conversion charter school, Newberry Community School. For those of you who don’t know, there was a hostile takeover of Newberry Elementary School, an A rated school mind you. Two years after the initial campaign to takeover the school, this charter school opened its doors on August 10, 2026.
So, on Day 2, 4th grade students, and later we are finding out it wasn’t just 4th grade it was kindergartners too, were asked the following questions.
- Do you attend church here in Newberry?
- Has anyone in your house ever been arrested?
- Do your parents/household own a firearm?
That’s some Hitler Youth shit right there.
