I took my exam not long ago and got my results this afternoon, just wondering my chance of getting called up for the PAT. My rank as of now is 1661.

Just curious so I’m processing for January but I do have my brother’s wedding in July 2027 and I’m best man. The wedding is on a Thursday and my question is would they allow me to take a day and attend or would I be fucked.

I followed the link to the website and when I tried to schedule my psyche interview, it says no spots available to book on any day. I got the email saying it's between July 6th and July 27th, but no days are available to schedule it. Alongside that, the link I was sent only goes out to the 22nd as well. I sent a text to my recruiter but I have no luck and they haven't answered yet. I couldn't schedule the day I got the email because I had other things potentially coming up I didn't want to double book a day and wanted to ensure I had a perfect day to take it.

Am I screwed to complete the process? I was going to finish everything today but I am feeling VERY concerned that I won't be able to complete the process now even though I have been passing everything up unto this point. Especially after traveling all the way to Albany. I'm in Troop E section btw, don't know if anyone else in that area is having the same issue.

What is the academy like and what everyones favorite and least favorite parts about the academy?

I’m in the process of troopers right now and also taking NYPD test and waiting for nassau to call me(98.xxx) on test. I’m just trying to weigh out my options, I’m from Long Island, I am trying to see the best course of action for myself. Any advice would be awesome because i keep going back and forth between the 3.
