Some 35mm film photos I took of the falls!

Took the Maid of the Mist tour, figured it’d be a great time to bring my 35mm film camera with!

Help with proving travel!

My mom and I are traveling to the falls at the beginning of September. We’re staying on the American side, but we’re hoping to go over to the Canadian side as well one day on our trip. Unfortunately, my mom didn’t get her passport yet. We called the state department and they need proof of travel to Canada. Does anyone have any ideas on what to book that isn’t super expensive so we can prove we’re traveling there? I looked up Maid of the Mist tickets and it seems much cheaper to book them on the US side from what I’ve seen. Just looking for some quick ideas!

[FOR HIRE] Web Designer Looking to Collaborate With Graphic Designers

Hey everyone,

I run InfaWeb, a small web design business based in Ontario. I started it this summer through Ontario’s Summer Company Program and I'm looking to connect with graphic designers who have clients needing websites.

If you handle branding, logos, or other design work but don't build websites yourself, I'd be interested in collaborating or exchanging referrals.

I build custom, mobile-friendly websites for small businesses and can work with an existing brand identity or designs you've already created.

I'm also happy to refer clients who need dedicated branding or graphic design work.

Portfolio: https://www.infawebdesign.com/

Feel free to DM me if you'd be interested in working together.

Visiting Niagara falls

Hey everyone! 👋

I’ll be visiting Niagara Falls, Ontario soon to make some videos, and I’d love some tips from locals!

I travel to different towns across Canada and the United States, exploring what makes each place interesting — especially the things you might not find in a typical tourist guide.

I’m looking for recommendations for:

🏕️ Outdoor activities — hiking, fishing, camping, kayaking, trails, scenic spots, etc.

📍 Hidden gems & interesting places that visitors might normally miss.

📖 Local history, stories, landmarks or legends worth learning about.

🤝 I’d also love to meet some locals and hang out for a couple of hours — show me around, join me for an activity, grab a coffee, or just share some local knowledge. You don't have to be in the videos.

I’m a 40-year-old guy who enjoys travelling, the outdoors, meeting people and trying new things.

If a friend was visiting Niagara Falls for the first time, where would you take them?

Leave your suggestions below, or send me a message if you'd like to meet up! 🏕️🥾🎣

Do better on the roads

To the three motorcyclists trying to cause a collision around 8:45am near the NF Walmart and QEW entrance this morning. Do better. If you’re in the far left lane, you can’t all cut over three lanes while there is a vehicle there. Move over when it’s safe. I saw one of you cut the SUV off and the other two nearly collided with the side of it when the SUV had to slam on their brakes to avoid hitting the first bike.

I guarantee you'd whine that cars need to look out for motorcycles if you had been hit. It would have been your fault tenfold.

You are the reason we have a bad name.

Sincerely, the biker behind you.

Memory Monday - The Amazing Race Canada Season 10 Premiere (2024) 🏃🏼🏆

The Season 10 premiere of The Amazing Race Canada was a big one - it marked the show’s 100th leg and brought the teams right to Niagara Falls! 🌊

The episode featured spots around the Falls, including Oakes Garden Theatre, Horseshoe Falls, Great Canadian Midway, Nightmares Fear Factory, Illumination Tower and The Tunnel at the Niagara Parks Power Station. Here are a few of our favourite moments from the Clifton Hill portion! 👀

Do you remember watching the episode, or maybe even spotting the teams running around Niagara Falls? And most importantly… which team were you rooting for?

Crossing border to Canada side

Are we able to walk across the Rainbow bridge (pedestrians) since we're not bringing our cars. And to my knowledge customs is open 24/7, so would we be able to walk across around 7-8 PM?

For context, I'm taking the Amtrak to NYC side and we are thinking about booking the hotel in the Canada side

Best hotel for 2 days

I know that we have google, but by experience, what hotel is the best bang for your buck for a view on the falls room? Trying not to spend 600$+ per night lol.
Thanks ✌🏻

Niagara at Sunrise

Waking up early thanks to my body clock was actually a blessing. I woke up around 5:30 AM, just in time for sunrise at around 6. If you’re visiting Niagara Falls, I highly recommend coming around this time. It’s absolutely majestic, and there were barely 10 people around.

You get so much space to yourself, you can walk right up to the falls, and there are almost no distractions. I even had time to just sit, take it all in, and contemplate. The view was honestly beyond words.

Go early, guys. Trust me, it’s worth it.

Over 3,100 tons of water crash over Niagara Falls every single second 🍁

I can't even start to imagine what this number means, but witnessing this wonder of nature in person it has been one of the most intense experience of my life

Rainbow Bridge questions

Hi there!

I'll be visiting Niagara Falls next week and I've got a few questions.

I'm an Irish Citizen that just got PR and still waiting for my card to show up in the mail. One of the things I'd like to do in Niagara is to cross over Rainbow Bridge to the States. I'm wondering if I need to acquire an ESTA or some other document before I cross the bridge. I'm also wondering if a printed version of my eCOPR and my passports are enough to leave and re-enter the border checks.

If anyone could help me that would be great!

Question:

What restaurants are on Clifton Hill? Are reservations needed? Are there budget-friendly options?

Answer:

Clifton Hill has a wide range of places to eat, but if you’re looking for full sit-down restaurants, your main options are Kelseys and Boston Pizza. Both are casual, family-friendly spots with big menus so they’re easy crowd-pleasers and can accommodate most allergies or dietary restrictions. In terms of reservations, Kelseys Clifton Hill operates on a first-come, first-served basis (no reservations), while Boston Pizza only takes advanced reservations for larger groups (5+ children or 10+ adults). During peak times, especially weekends and evenings, waits can increase, so plan accordingly but don't worry - we have plenty of seats to accommodate you and your party. :)

If you’re looking for a quick meal, you’ll find many concession stands with classic grab-and-go items and Wendy’s for something fast and familiar. These are great if you’re on the move or just want a quick bite between attractions.

TL;DR:

Clifton Hill dining is mostly Kelseys (no reservations) and Boston Pizza (reservations for large groups only), with quick, budget-friendly options like concession stands and Wendy’s available for grab-and-go.

To see the menus, check out our restaurants page.
