Hotel Relocation due to flooding
I just received this notice about my upcoming stay at Wyndham Grand Fallsview in Niagara Falls (May 25th thru 27th). Has anyone else received this notice and been relocated to another hotel?

Looking at visiting the Falls in June and curious about these package deals. Theyâre pretty pricey (like US$300 per person) so I want to make sure one is worth it. Which ones should we consider and which should we skip?
Thanks!
Hi everyone, I am celebrating my engagement in Niagara falls in early June! Aside from a dinner, I am hoping to do a little picnic with a cake and drinks in a nearby park.
I made a list of parks that have picnic tables, which one is best for scenery and availability?
- Dufferin Island
- Queenston Heights
- Kingsbridge Park
- Niagara glen park
In case you are in Niagara Falls, stay back until 10pm. From May 15 until Oct, there will be fireworks display every night at 10pm.
Enjoy the one I captured last night! :)
In the parking lot at the cemetery on Stanley. Is this likely a city/regional employee?
Hello everyone, please keep an eye out for my brother in the Niagara region. If seen, call 911 immediately, not for danger but for his safety, approx 160lbs not 100*
If money is no object, where are you staying? Which hotel and rooms have the best view of the falls?
Trying to plan a surprise
I know this is a longshot, but Iâm gonna try anyway. đ€·ââïžđ I was in Niagara Falls Canada yesterday, and I lost a ring that is very very special to me. It was a silver cross ring that was my late fatherâs that he gave to me. It might have fallen off while I was on the Niagara City Cruise boat sadly but it might have fallen off after too. I traced my steps and Iâve notified every place I was and was going for one last ditch effort here and other platforms, Iâve even prayed to St Anthony.

My heart is broken for losing it but if anyone does find it please let me know. It would really mean the world to me â„ïžđ Iâm located in NJ. I will try to find a picture to share and update the post too.
Update: here are some pics of the ring https://postimg.cc/gallery/cvr4Vw0

Just a reminder for anyone visiting Niagara Falls this summer â the nightly fireworks series officially returns starting tonight (May 15).
đ Fireworks every night at 10 PM
đ Niagara Falls, Ontario
đ
Runs until October 12, 2026
Honestly one of the best times to experience the falls is after dark with the illuminated waterfalls and fireworks together.
If youâve seen it before, is it worth staying late for? đ
Iâve been to Niagara Falls a few times a year since I was a kid, usually day trips but my boyfriend has never been. Planning his first trip ever in July.
What are some absolute âmust doâsâ for your first NF trip? Have you stayed anywhere recently and thought âhey this place looks super sketchy, but itâs actually lovely and the price is so good!â (A girl can hope)
Just visited Niagara for the first time this weekend. First advice---STAY ON THE CANADIAN SIDE! We stayed at the Hyatt Place in Niagara, NY. The hotel was fine, but Niagara, NY is not a good place to stay. It looks completely run down, so many old abandoned homes and buildings in the area with boarded up windows. I didn't even feel safe at the nearby gas station. Not many people walking the streets. The park was beautiful, but local Niagara is the pits. We drove 10 min to Canaduan border and it was 100% change. Beautiful, resturaunts, casino, shopping, amusement park, ice cream parlors; reminded me of a mini las vegas or being at Universal Studios. Tourists are walking everywhere, very lively and very nice! Next time, we are staying on the Canada side. Beware of Niagara, NY; very run down area.
So I work at a tax joint, and a common thing I hear when I tell people where I work is on the lines of âha ! I/(insert friend/family member) havenât done taxes in 15 years, you canât owe the government if you donât file!!â
Guys this is just a myth. Like odds are youâre missing out on GST or ON Trillium or an actual refund. Thats easy money back in your pockets.
Oh and even if you did owe, one day youâll likely require a government benefit and youâll need to file, and the penalties, late fees and interest on that is just not worth it imo.
But also, itâs your life, live it whatever way you want to live it, I guess Iâm just offering something to considerâŠ
Hi guys,
Our highly anticipated engagement shoot just got cancelled last minute by TASC tulip festival due to "flash storm with lightening, extreme wind, and flooding." Can you guys tell me how bad the condition of gardens around the area are? Is it worth coming down to Niagara from Toronto. Would all the gardens be affected? (Niagara botanical garden, Oakes garden theatre etc)??
Thank you in advance
