Berlin and Antwerp

My moments in Berlin (and some pictures from Antwerp). Berlin was amazing! Just at the moment I was getting my phone to make a picture he took my hand. And later on I got to hold his mic at the end of The Weeping Song.

Antwerp was a solid show, but Berlin was off the charts. It will be hard to beat this in Brighton.

Does anyone want a discounted ticket to Nick's day festival in Brighton on the 31st?

I ended up getting two tickets for this but the person I wanted to bring can make it, neither can their back up, so now I just wanna get rid of it. Was originally £75 but would part with it for £50. If you're interested DM me.

Spotted Nick (I think) in Bari, Italy

What do we think is going on here? Something about mussels, clearly.

I'm back with another Grackle demanding peanuts.

Also note that it's a "person" detected. 🤣

Brighton Setlist…

What are the chances of there being a different setlist for the Brighton concert? I remember that the trailer for the show included clips from the Dig, Lazarus, Dig!!! video, the Stagger Lee video, the Deanna video, and Grinderman lyrics. While the current setlist is one of the best I’ve seen in recent years, a Grinderman track or a classic like Deanna certainly wouldn’t go amiss. If there’s been a Bad Seeds show like this before, was there a different or longer setlist?

Travel to Preston Park

I am flying in from US for Preston Park and am staying in Brighton/Hove area. Any thoughts on the best way to get to and from the concert without having to leave early (taxi, bus, shuttle?)? Also, I was only able to get a general admission ticket. Has anyone been to a concert at Preston Park? Wondering whether it would be worth it to get a VIP balcony ticket. Thanks!

Edit to add that, per my app, to get to where I am staying it is a 49 minute walk (likely longer for me - I am short and old), I will likely have a lovely case of jet lag since I am flying in for the show and I am not always comfortable walking by myself at night based on past life experiences so, although I may end up walking, I am also hoping for some practical alternatives.

Preston Park gig - last entry 7pm?

Hi all, the website says last entry 7pm but is anyone taking that seriously? Surely that won't be enforced - loads of people won't be coming, or able to come, until after 7pm, have never heard of gates to an outdoor gig closing so early?

I think he just clicked for me!

I have heard how beloved Nick Cave is, I have tried for so long to enjoy his music, my dad had all of his albums, but no matter what, I just couldn't enjoy his music, I didn't really like his voice or the style, I was just listening to the B-Sides and Rarities album and didn't care for Disc 1, but as soon as Disc 2 started, I just love it. Every song sounded perfect, just like everyone had been telling me for ages! The real click happened during 'Where The Wild Roses Grow', something just happened inside me and it was just the greatest moment I've ever had with music, I need to relisten to all of his music, I finally understand it!

Btw, no need to upvote or comment or anything, I just needed to explain this somewhere because I'm just so delighted!

Berlin Waldbühne

Hey,

Me and my gf plan to go see Nick Cave tomorrow. Do you think it's a good idea to go and hunt for tickets next to the arena? Does anyone have spare tickets that we could buy? I'm interested in genuine in-person meet and buy.
