It's finally here!

My essay written about Nicki Minaj (and M.I.A) has been published in cracks in pomo. It basically relates their controversial political supports with the fact that they are dynamic and whole human beings, not just token Black women or brown refugee women. You can't have dynamic artists (who write their own raps, refine their own craft) suddenly be meek when it comes to their opinions about the world, regardless of what those opinions are, they are bound to push the boundaries as their art and personas do.
