I had about 240 wishes, f2p btw, it took 140 TO GET JUST ONE NICOLE and i was hoping to get my first multiple 5 star pull with 3 Nicoles, I lost my 50/50 to Yumemizuki then after seeing all the posts here about people getting 3 Nicoles i spent rest of my wishes, ONLY to get a single Fischl each pull (already C6 btw) then lose to Yumemizuki again... I want to get Sandrone too and Citlali... Wish me luck guys. 😭 I HAVE NEVER HAD THIS BAD OF A LUCK WITH MY GACHAS BEFORE.

Edit: What's with all the serious responses lol, i made this post in hopes of sharing mutual frustration, I have been playing since 1.2 and i went for the constellations because i wanted to (and gambling addiction). It's just that this banner was my worst luck yet.

This is just some co-op testing from me and a friend after hopping into the game and checking a few interactions ourselves.

For context: I have C2 Nicole, my friend has C0 Nicole, so we tested what she actually gives to other players in co-op.

I’m not claiming every single thing here is 100% guaranteed, so please don’t treat this as final gospel. This is just what we found from our own testing, and I’m happy to be corrected if anyone has cleaner tests or different results.

Short version: she’s pretty mid in co-op, especially at C0. The biggest disappointment for me is Celestial Gift in 4-player co-op.

C0 Nicole

At C0, Nicole gives other co-op players her base Grace of Kenosis ATK buff. With talent level 10 and 4000 ATK on Nicole, that’s 600 ATK.

Other co-op players didn't upgrade from Grace of Kenosis (600 ATK) to Guidance of Theosis (+300 ATK). Waiting 3 seconds didn’t work, and being a Hexerei character didn’t make it upgrade instantly either.

So at C0, other co-op players get:

• 600 ATK
• no Guidance of Theosis upgrade (so no extra 300 ATK)

Basically, other co-op players only get the base Grace of Kenosis (600 ATK) buff.

C1

C1 isn’t very relevant for helping other co-op players.

From the wording, it looks tied to the player who owns Nicole. So in 4-player co-op, C1 should only really matter for the Nicole player.

C2 Nicole

C2 adds 300 ATK to Grace of Kenosis itself, so this does work for other co-op players.

That means C2 Nicole gives other players:

• 600 ATK from Grace of Kenosis
• +300 ATK from C2 (this is not Guidance of Theosis so no need to wait 3s)
• 900 ATK total
• all co-op players are protected by Nicole's shield

However, the 25% RES shred part of C2 is tied to Guidance of Theosis. Since other co-op players don’t get Guidance of Theosis, they don’t get the RES shred.

So C2 makes her better in co-op, but she still loses a big part of her single-player value.

Celestial Gift in 4-player co-op

This was the more disappointing part.

In 4-player co-op, if Nicole is the only one holding Celestial Gift, the set only gives the element linked to Nicole herself.

Since Nicole is Pyro, she gives the party Pyro DMG Bonus from the set. With the 4 piece active, that’s 40% Pyro DMG Bonus.

What it does not do is read every co-op player as a separate active character.

So if you have a 4-player co-op team like:

• Nicole
• Fischl
• Cryo character
• Anemo character

Nicole’s Celestial Gift does not give everyone Pyro + Electro + Cryo + Anemo.

It only gives Pyro from Nicole.

This is where the set loses a lot of value in 4-player co-op. Unless someone is playing a Pyro DPS, the bonus is much less useful than it looks on paper.

Celestial Gift: 2-player co-op works a bit differently

In 2-player co-op, if the Nicole player can switch characters, the set can give two elements.

Example:

• Player 1 has Nicole + Citlali
• Nicole triggers Celestial Gift
• Player 1 switches to Citlali

Now the party can get Pyro + Cryo DMG Bonus.

So the set looks at the artifact holder’s own active character, not every player currently on field in co-op.

The only way to get more elements is to have more than one player run Celestial Gift.

For example:

• Player 1 has Nicole on Celestial Gift, then switches to Chasca
• Player 2 has Fischl on Celestial Gift, then switches to Citlali

That can give Pyro + Anemo from Player 1’s set, and Electro + Cryo from Player 2’s set.

So a rainbow-style setup is technically possible, but Nicole doesn’t do it by herself. It needs multiple Celestial Gift holders and proper switching, which is not how most co-op works.

Burst

Her Burst works in co-op. Other players can trigger the Arcane Projections.

The issue is that there are only 4 Arcane Projection triggers per Burst, so without coordination it’s very easy for the wrong character to use one up.

If someone’s support character accidentally attacks and triggers one, that’s one of the 4 gone.

So yes, it works in co-op, but it’s not exactly a huge selling point unless people are actually coordinating.

TL;DR

C0 Nicole in 4-player co-op gives other players:

• 600 ATK
• 40% Pyro DMG Bonus if using Celestial Gift

C2 Nicole in 4-player co-op gives other players:

• 900 ATK
• 40% Pyro DMG Bonus if using Celestial Gift

Overall, she’s usable, but pretty disappointing as a co-op support. Her kit loses a lot of value because other players don’t get Guidance of Theosis, and Celestial Gift only gives Nicole’s own element in normal 4-player co-op.

Happy to hear if anyone else has tested this differently or found anything I missed.
