Phantom Dancer

Hi guys. What is your experience/opinion on Phantom Dancer on Nilah? Is it troll? I just feel so slow without it. I tried flickerblades and feindhunter, but still feels too slow.

Free coaching / answering questions.

Hey everyone! I'm offering free reviews and coaching for anyone who wants to improve at Nilah (or just learn to play her).

I main Nilah and I'm currently Master 500 LP. You can check my opgg here, my main is the 500 LP account, and the others are accounts I climbed to Master but that have since decayed:

opgg -> multi opgg

is nilah op?

For context im only silver but ive played 22 games with her and i got a 72% wr. majority of the games end with over 20 kills and most of my losses are to teams throwing or facing senna. She just does so much damage after 1 kill and 50 cs majority of the other adc cannot handle her. Why dont people play her ? does she fall off badly in higher elo or something cuz right now it seems like shes op to me

The champ lost itself

Nilah is a meele assassin fighter ADC, but now it feels like both the assassin and fighter parts are a fluke.. Back then u could just burst enemy adc at lvl 3, now theres 10s of shields and heals they get before ultimately escaping, unless youre using ghost, and if youre using ghost you get bursted yourself.. The laning phase got harder while the reward for winning the landing phase got smaller. Unless you gigastomp enemy botlane, you always get overshadowed by the enemy Caitlyn,Senna,Smolder etc regardless if theyre 3k gold down. Maybe its just she got more useless in the mage meta? maybe she misses mythic items, maybe she just doesnt work as much in higher elo maybe this maybe that but idk i cant find any reason to play this champ in 9/10 games and its a champ ive OTP-ed since 2023

I do 0 damage with this champ.

I see people saying she can 1v1 almost any champ in the game, meanwhile even with 100% crit I do ltierally 0 damage, both in 1v1 and in teamfights.

I can regularly ult 3 people, I don't see their health bar going down in anyway nor mine go up. Literally all champs in the game win 1v1 against me becasue it takes me more than 10 seconds to kill them while they 100 to 0 me before my W even runs out.

I really don't understand what I'm doing wrong with this champ, I don't understand where damage is supposed to come from.

Max W second?

Is there any reason we shouldn’t be maxing W second? I feel like E max is now the clear, best ability to max first but all the sites and pros still max Q second. Literally the only thing you get for maxing Q from 1 to 5 is an additional 40 damage every 4 seconds. Nothing else changes, whether it’s the scaling, cooldown, etc. It’s literally just the 40 damage. The attack speed scales on champion level and the armor pen on critical strike chance.

W on the other hand goes from a 26 second cooldown to a 22 second cooldown at level 5. The mana cost goes down each level eventually being free at level 5 and the movement speed increases from 15% to 25%.

With how powerful her W is, is it worth having an extra 10 dps from a maxed out Q vs maxing the W second?

Nilah jungle

Ok has anyone else had more success playing Nilah in the jungle than on the bot lane. Like I know I waste her passive thatway but still I just find it alot easier to farm and scale then to be stuck with an inting support for like 10 minutes and be down 50cs. I still play her bot with about 55% win rate but it's just mentaly exhausting playing for the late game when 6/10 times my support either ints and fucks off or has no idea what my engage window is. I know she has a low win rate as per stats.

Struggling on Nilah

I’m a low elo Nilah otp and haven’t really played ranked much until recently. I’ve recently started playing against plat players (I think my mmr got boosted from a win streak) and am struggling with most aspects of the game now. My weak leaning phase means some supports just decide it’s not worth being in lane, and even when I get a kill early it doesn’t seem to be worth much to converting a lead. Usually my enemy laner somehow finds 4 kills outside of the lane and comes back to destroy me. That being said, I understand it’s simply because of my own playing, and if I was enryu, I’d be stomping my lobbies easily. Has anyone got any tips or advice for this kind of situation?

(Other than duoing with a support, my duo right now is a top lane main)
