I have a ninja 2013 and I was trying to remove the throttle body and fuel injector to do some maintenance but this thing is on the way. I was following the steps on my service manual until I got to this part. I can’t find anything that mentions it and other 300 on YouTube doesn’t have this thing either
I had my last dash stolen, I was doing a faring’s swap and left the dash with the attacked plastic outside my home for a while and someone took it. I bought a replacement on eBay . It looked all legit but the connectors are not the same. Did I just buy the wrong one? Help need please
Is ninja 300 worth buying in 2026 depsite having very less features compared to competition it has useful features .I went to the showroom it looks good and feels like a premium bike .

When I tried researching abt this bike so I can buy it on fbm I didn't find any pics with the ninja 300 having this fairing...... so it has to be aftermarket right?
I genuinely have this doubt. Bikes like apache rr310, rc390 do have lots of lots of digital features now. Turn by turn navigation, bluetooth, TFT, riding modes, time laps, six axis imu abs and etc etc. apart from abs, traction control, do people keep on using these digital features like navigation, bluetooth, riding modes forever or the initial hype is gone after a few weeks and people will just care speed and tacho only?
I was cruising at 150kmph admittedly after like 15 mins of normal riding i started going at high rpms. Also do note that third service is due at 12k kms but i do see oil and its above the min mark.
Okay so i was cruising at 150 then i noticed a sudden drop in power and rattling noise so i pulled over and initially it wouldnt start but then it started after some time only to make a loud krr krr sound.
Pls advice on what could be the reason. Chatgpt is convinced its cam shaft chain tensioner issue.
Need a little understanding here. Listen to this audio and you should notice the tapping sound starting from 9-10 sec. Not ticking sound I suppose.
Starts around 3k RPM, goes on with same interval and probably somewhat same loudness regardless of higher RPM. And goes silent again below 3k.
It started coming after hitting 12k RPM after I rode my bike after a whole year while it was parked.
Although I did keep it idle for 20-30 mins, chaexked oil level. Rode for 5-6 kms below 6k rpm before I took it for a 13k spin!
Chatgpt is convinced by my description that it is cam-chain tensioner or cam lobes or just an extremely bad valve clearance!
