I just found this subreddit and thought to share what I nintendo-stiched :D
For the Hyrule emblem, I painted the fabric with water colour. It makes a really nice difference, so I think I'll do that again ^^
Not a gen 1 but I made this little guy today as a surprise extra for a client while I wait for my yarn to finally arrive D:
Banana for scale. This turned out so much bigger than I thought it would when I first started lol
Forgot to post here yesterday so day 8 is also included. Polywag, Hitmonchan, and Oddish! Oddish pattern is currently free for followers of my Ribblr shop :D
I also started a new project while I wait for yarn to arrive for other Pokémon. Can you tell what it is?
These are so fun to make
It was originally meant to be a larger vase for some flowers I’d been crocheting, but then I realized I’d be playing a losing game of yarn chicken with the green. Cute, isn’t it?
Magikarp and Venonat! 13 down, 138 to go.
My mother made this for me about 10 years ago as a Christmas gift, it's super comfortable and warm to sleep under in winter months. I don't care that I'm older now, I will happily put this on my bed when it's chilly, thankfully my partner doesn't mind and loves it just as much!
Having way too much fun with magnetic hands.
Vulpix and a sneak peak at Arcanine (ran out of yarn again so he's missing some hair). 11 down, 140 to go.
So happy with this! I vastly understand how much work the pixels are omg. And they are very unforgiving. I'm not that great at quilting but this one project was so demanding it really leveled up my abilities.
The mario sprite is 18x18 all 1-inch squares, finished the whole thing it's about 30x30in. The mario 18x18 part took about an hour or 2 to cut and 6 hours to sew. (so much seam pressing.) The rest of it took about 9 hours I did today in a marathon. I swear I was possessed by the Holy Spirit Of Quilting. So about 16-17 hours total. No major screwups, but a few little ones of course.
Finally I'm coloring Arcanine, I still feel very slow about it though, how do you deal with feeling like this?
I slacked off on the crocheting a little bit today, only new one for you guys is Pikachu! 9 down, 142 to go. But I definitely didn't slack in the pattern department. I've uploaded every one I've made so far as a pattern to Etsy/Ravelry/Ribblr (except Golduck... we don't talk about Golduck) hope you guys enjoy!
