Im scared that my fundoplication didn’t work:(

HI, my full wrap fundo was 5 days ago, (i already posted on here about it) but now im scared and anxious, because of my symptoms:(

before surgery:
My main symptom was the feeling of “droplets” of acid in my throat, and from time to time regurgitation.

I did PH study and my DeMeester score was 36,6 (141 refluxes)

medication, diet, lifestyle changes didnt help

chronic pharyngitis and sore throat

after surgery:
im scared and worried because i still feel these droplets of acid in my throat (after eating/drinking)
im really scared that my wrap is too loose or surgeon did something wrong, i cant stop thinking about it:(

my throat is damaged (because of a tube that was in my stomach afterwards) and it can be because of that, i know. But im worried of the fact that droplets of acid still can reach my throat, so i did all of this for nothing?:( i dont know what to do..

my surgeon kinda ignored my question about this, i I told him everything I felt and about my worries, but he just replied “its ok” with one message, thats it:( he didn’t explain to me why this is happening😔

for which reasons Nissen fundoplication may not work for someone?

just curious, like why is this can happen? i’ve seen so much negative reviews on here:(

Like the surgeons don't stitch it up correctly and it ends up too loose?

just had Nissen yesterday, need support:)

Hi, im 17F and i had my first surgery yesterday!
I need support and reassurance because im a SEVERE overthinker, and i also have OCD🥲

so, after surgery now my biggest fear is that it wouldn’t work, like right now its kinda working, but im still scared, because here and there i almost "feel" acid in my throat for a split second, its like im totally paranoid of this feeling that acid is might come out again despite the nissen..

right now im feeling like someone broke my ribs🤣🤣 and when im breathing, im feeling something in my chest is "clicking"
also i cant burp, like when im feeling like air is coming up, its painful, i know its common so im not as nervous

i ate farina like 5 minutes ago? and i didnt feel acid, but i felt like it almost returned back (regurgitated?) is this normal? it wasnt bad, but im very nervous!!

also i walk veeery slowly, and its painful to sit/walk with a straight back

also from time to time i want to cough, or just feel like my throat is sore, but i think its because of a tube that was in my stomach for 2 days🫩🫩🫩

i dont know what is normal after fundo, so im really nervous when im feeling something new or different.. i just want some reassurance and encouragement:) thanks!

When did you try soda again after surgery?

I am almost 5 months post op and I miss my soda pop. When were you able to tolerate soda again? Did anyone try too soon and regret it? I would love to hear your stories of success or failure regarding soda.

Nissen Fundiliplocation Revision

I'm having a Revision of my Nissen Fundiliplocation that was done in 2009. What can I expect and roughly how long is recovery this time around?

Any advice or tips?
