How to get to the EU

Hey guys me and some of my friends(EU citizens) are planning a trip all across Europe 🇮🇹 🇪🇸 🇳🇱... how can I get a visa if I don't have a Turkish or a Cypriot passport like I don't want to fly back to my country and apply from there.

Is there any way of getting a schengen visa from the north we are planning to go from July onwards.

Crossing from N Cyprus to Cyprus

I will fly from Istanbul to Ercan and spend a night on the north side of Nicosia. I would like to then cross to the southern side, spend a couple of days in southern Cyprus, then cross back to the north and fly back out of Ercan. I have a US passport. How feasible is this? Thank you!

Help me understand

I'm a Turk from Turkey.

So what I have seen so far suggests that Turkish Cypriots want to unify with the South to join the EU. What I learn from the school and what I have seen from the BBC documentary suggests that the Greeks really clashed with the Turks due to ethnic reasons and tried to take over the country with a coup.

I get that you guys want to join the EU due to economical and judicial reasons but don't you feel a bit unsafe due to the Greek's ethnic approach? I mean they tried to seize power via a coup and created EOKA. Also they did not want to unify as Annan tried 10 years ago.

I hope I don't offend you guys just wanted to understand it better. Hope you get your heart's desire.

Best regards

Kıbrıs Türkleri Türkiye hakkında ne düşünüyor

https://preview.redd.it/wm1p7upe3p1h1.jpg?width=950&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=18b24a0e76b0eaf03c02e2ee84f2240ad040a0db

I’m Turkish with a Dutch passport, can my wife (Turkish citizen) cross from Northern Cyprus to Southern Cyprus with me?

I'm born and raised in The Netherlands and have a Dutch passport/citizenship. My wife is a Turkish citizen with only a Turkish passport.

We are currently living in Northern Cyprus together, would she be allowed to cross into Southern Cyprus with me through the checkpoint? Has anyone here experienced this situation recently?

Also wondering if it matters whether we enter the island through the north or south first

Edit: I already crossed the border with my Dutch passport and my mother in law who's married to an original Cypriot with British citizenship showed only her Turkish ID to the RoC side to enter RoC Cyprus

What is going on with restaurant prices??

Arrived in North cyprus 4 days ago, and went to 4 of my favorite restaurants. It seems every place the quantity and quality has decreased and the prices are through the roof. Considering my country’s currency has gained 20%+ purchasing power against TL I was assuming prices might even be cheaper than last year. To my surprise, it is significantly more expensive than last year. Every meal I ate so far has come out to more than 2000TL, and most of the time I leave the restaurant not even feeling stuffed, craving for another meal.

Pretty sad to see this trend, getting more expensive to eat out than in my own country at this point, which is already a very expensive country to live in.
