Hi, I'm looking for guitar lessons in the NELA area for a 13 year old (mostly beginner, but has a few years of violin background). Could be an organization or an individual teacher. Open to considering either. Any person or places that you recommend?

Eagle Rock High School, located in Eagle Rock (between Pasadena and Glendale ) has plans to replace its natural grass athletic field with artificial turf, a material which causes a variety of environmental and health concerns.
In order to oppose this development, there’s been a petition created reaching out to LAUSD board members, who approved the project in the first place.

Hi, does anyone have any recommendations for a trusted vet w/ emergency care options? My cat needs to get a CT scan and possible scope and my vet wants me to take him somewhere with emergency care options since last time he went under, his trachea tore from the intubation :(
I made an appointment with ASG VCA in the Glendale area, but it's in early Sept and I'd love to get him seen sooner.
I'm also looking for a new regular vet in the Glassell/Cypress Park, Eagle Rock, Highland Park etc area and would love suggestions for that as well!! My cats are older and very nervous at the vet so I'd love someone who is thorough and of course sweet to them 🥹
I appreciate any advice!!!
