Animal Abusers, a daily occurrence. I don't know what to do. Animal Services and Police Department won't do anything.

These animal abusers have this poor puppy out here for several hours DAILY without water or food. The leash is so short that the dog can't lay down to rest. When they eventually bring him inside, I could almost swear I could hear them beating him. I tried make a report with animal services and the police department. Nothing changes. Burner account because these neighbors are crazy.

Looking for a great bean rice and cheese burrito

Just moved to Montecito Heights - between Highland Park and El Sereno. I crave a great bean rice and cheese burrito. Anyone have a good suggestion? I've found some great tacos and burritos, but meat focused and some spots don't have rice. The BRC is my happy place. Send help.

Looking For Fellow Activists in El Sereno

I am sick and tired of ICE’s terror campaign, and I want to protect my community in El Sereno from the threat of ICE. Toward this end, I would like to do some community organization and probably door knocking. Please DM me if you live in El Sereno (or are interested in activism in El Sereno) and would like to participate in direct or indirect ways. I am a leftist, but I don’t need you to be. Our community needs people willing to do the work of bringing ourselves together because there is power in numbers, and I know we have the numbers. I would also be interested in hearing about groups in El Sereno doing this kind of work if you know of any (I didn't find anything, hence this post). Thanks for reading this.
