So originally like most people I had Pfizer and Moderna shots the first few years, even though I had some really unpleasant inflammatory reactions that lasted weeks.

Then later in the fall of 2024 and fall of 2025, if I’m remembering correctly, I got the Novavax shot (now called Nuvaxovid).

However I just learned if you’re switching over to Nuvaxovid you’re supposed to get a series of shots? Not just a single booster every year?

Is that correct? My doctor didn’t seem to know that.

Also, given that I had a shot two years ago and a shot last year, should I still try to do the series? And what is it?

Also (final plot twist) I’m immune compromised so I should be getting them more often than annually right?

My doctor doesn’t seem to know about Nuvaxovid so I’d like to share the correct info with her.
