IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

Hello to all readers of A Narrative Extra: The Screenwriter's Perspective.

I'm sorry to start with bad news, but it's necessary to be honest with you.

First of all, I want to sincerely apologize for my lack of discipline with TSP's updates. Behind every delay there was a series of circumstances that, although real, do not justify the damage I did to the story.

Ever since my previous device was stolen and I lost a large part of the plot chapters, everything started falling apart little by little.

When I got a new device, I made an even bigger mistake: I let my obsession with getting a contract with Webnovel.com completely ruin TSP's direction. And I must admit it without mincing words: I never really liked TSP that much in the beginning. I wrote it with my sights set on signing a contract, not out of passion.

But over time, as I continued serializing, I realized that the material had much more potential: the world-building, the characters, the power system... everything had potential. The problem was always me and my obsession with fitting into a place that wasn't mine.

I was analyzing all the possibilities for future plots, and I understood that it wasn't too late to correct course. That's why I've made a difficult but necessary decision:

I'm going to rewrite "A Narrative Extra: The Screenwriter's Perspective" from scratch.

I've found a new home on Novelpia Global, a platform where I truly feel I belong. I've come to accept that if I couldn't stand out on a site where I wasn't accepted, maybe I should move to one where I truly fit. And Novelpia is that place.

I apologize for having given you all kinds of excuses, bad news, and hiatus announcements. Also for the delays due to studies and work, which although real, shouldn't have affected my commitment to you so much. But as the saying goes: we learn from our mistakes. And this time I promise it won't happen again.

TSP was a mistake, yes, but a mistake from which I learned a great deal. I wrote it too hastily and published it too soon. And although the beginnings were promising, the novel gradually declined. Today I acknowledge that with honesty.

I also want to share something personal: during this time I've been writing out of necessity, to give my mother and my little sister a better life. We're going through a very difficult situation in my country, and every day is a battle. But that's not an excuse for my greed or my poor decisions. We're human, we make mistakes, but we must also face the consequences.

I'm sorry to say it, but "A Narrative Extra: The Screenwriter's Perspective" was a complete failure. Even so, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the support you gave me.

[ABOUT THE INDEFINITE HIATUS]

TSP will be rewritten, as I mentioned. That's why it will be put on hold, but with no return date. It could be months or even years before I touch the work again. It's not a definitive goodbye, but a "see you later."

I'm the kind of person who doesn't easily abandon a story when they find even the slightest hope of fixing it. That's why I prefer to put it on hold for a long time rather than cancel or abandon it.

This is not a cancellation. This is a new resurgence.

I don't know when I'll start writing the new version, because it will no longer be my main focus. But what I do know is that I'll have more new works on Novelpia Global, and I'll make sure you can read them.

[ABOUT MY NEW WORK]

Speaking of upcoming releases, I want to introduce you to a story that is very special to me:

「추방된 용왕이 되어버렸지만, 적어도 요리는 할 수 있다!」

[I Became the Exiled Dragon King, But At Least I Can Cook!]

Unlike TSP, I'm writing this novel with true passion. It may not get much support, but I'll publish it anyway because it's a deeply emotional work, inspired by my personal life.

I wrote it as a hobby during a very dark time. I reached a point where I wasn't doing well, and this story saved me from making a serious mistake that would have ended everything. I admit it without shame: this novel saved my life. That's why I want to share it with you.

It doesn't have a release date yet, but I plan to accumulate as many chapters as possible so you can enjoy it without issues, and thus avoid what happened with TSP.

The estimated date is mid-December 2026 or early 2027 (January/February, God willing). The next announcement I post here will be about this work, so stay tuned.

But also another thing: if everything goes as planned or I accumulate as many chapters as possible, this work could come out much sooner than expected (with safety and preparation).

Thank you very much for reading this far.

I love you, I respect you, and I value every minute you dedicated to my story.

Stay tuned for the next announcement.

See you soon.

Extra became Handsome predict

Hi folks, rn I'm reading this, and I'm liking it, the thing is during the interview after a photo shoot, mc mentioned a special memory on kinder garden, immediately I knew the other world Fmc(Lee Seol) somehow would see it, and I know some may say it was kinda obvious, but still feels dope to nail the predict.

[Novel Reviews]Genuine Novel Rating After 9 Months of Novelpia

Disregarding the various issue I have with the AI translations, website, UI and others, Below are my Personal Novel Rating That I deem good to read.

I went digging for gold in Novelpia and mostly found cursed piles of nothing. These are the ones that were actually worth it. After Rating each work I have read to completion, I am surprised I did not find any tier below B and just realised I drop them bad works lmao

Tier rating as follows

S Tier - Works I like very much, would re-read again

  • Reincarnated as a Hatchling - Good pacing, well made world building, doesn't feel any burn out when reading
  • A Strange Healer Lives in the Labyrinth City - Very well made, easy read and flow, MC does his best and does well. First time reading a Priest MC that really respect his god.
  • Raising Through In-Game Purchases - Re-read 3 times and still liked it. Slice of life where MC is a full supporter from back to front, not dominating alone singlehandedly. Does one arc badly and a bit forced, but other than that its well made Novel(World building, story flow, constrains, hierarchy is well made and navigated)
  • Surviving as a Plagiarist Author in Another World - Re-read once, very well made and its done well with the gimmick to main point of the novel. Others within the same genre does it badly , but one is done very well.
  • Pursuing Alchemy to Return to a Man - It fell of a bit to the end, but accounting the world building, story flow and easy read, its good
  • The Reincarnated Lizardman Wants to Eat a Hamburger - A surprising well cooking novel that have all characters done well, a bit surprised that MC is not the strongest in his level, but that's also good read.
  • Surviving the Apocalypse with Crafting Skills - Simple and a bit short read, a person who is able to 'fix and make' stuff using game engineering in Apocalypse. Not OP and not praise-farming. A kind-of memorable villain in the series, good read.
  • How a Hero Lives as an Author - Re-read twice, Another writer genre novel that's done well, love the struggle the characters have in the novel and how that get around settling the different grudges in the world. Love every part of the novel and very good ending
  • I Became the Slit-Eyed Character in a Magical Girl Battle Series. - Love the story progression and the changes from original story to after possession, lacking a bit in fighting scenes, but very well story flow and lore.
  • Surviving Against an Evil God - Very long and a bit tiring to read, but well made world and challenges, some of the best fights I have read.
  • I Am the Only Totem in Another World - re-read once, Easy read and good flow, short enough to be concise and entertaining, like the ending and world building
  • The Extra Who Draws Comics in a Romance Fantasy - Similar to the Writer genre, another novel done well,
  • The Basement Tarot Streamer - Ongoing, enjoyable read, and showing of OP in a good way. Think its my first time seeing OP cheat in modern times
  • The Dark Fantasy Doctor is Mistaken for a Saint - Ongoing, very good read, updates daily. Like the way it expanded and its future.
  • Surviving the Labyrinth City - ongoing, doesn't like some parts but thats personal taste. MC chooses some things he regrets, but the way how the world is and they just bite it, just like real life and so that give a plus sign.
  • The Rooftop's Genius Monster Summoner - An OP cheat character that show off in modern fantasy done well. Like that MC improve from pathetic start to a competent and well intentioned person.
  • The Reincarnator’s Magic Lessons - ongoing, like early parts, good world building, nice magic building, a bit worried about upcoming chapters
  • The Barbarian Writer of a Martial Arts Dating Sim - ongoing, you know what you read. Personally like harem only if done well, and this is one of them. Novel suffer from too long arc covering one character and forgot the rest, but its still ongoing stongly.
  • The Returned Witch Was Forced Into Rural Farming - ongoing, like the world building, new modern fantasy, MC struggle and improvement, making her own home and others. easy read and good flow until 2 dungeon arc back to back, but like it nonetheless with no flaws.
  • I've Become a 1-Star Nobody of an Avantgarde Chinese Game - ongoing, surprisingly good novel with the title, very well made world, power scale, power system, challenges, struggle, characters, everything. No flaws, only plus
  • It's Not A Tower, It's My Home - ongoing, a comedy op characters thats done well and not too forced.
  • The Campus Forum Administrator - Completed. My first time reading a modern day Harem with real harem ending and many snu snu. The novel is a riot from start to back and very enjoyable. MC still manage to have his own personality and each girls is also very memorable each with their good points. and don't forget their drunk bros
  • Surviving Magic University - ongoing, holy hell another monster in world building and power system, Like the speciality and drawbacks of the mc, very recommended.
  • The Personal Chef of a Mage Who Can't Eat Alone - Ongoing, personal favourite, cooking novel with increasing influence, but still fun and slowly showing the world, the characters and shenanigans.
  • I Became a Saintess in a Cyberpunk Game - ongoing, good read
  • Otherworld TRPG Game Master - Completed, re-read twice, like the reveal of the villain, the power system, the world building, the characters and everything, very recommended. Just a bit sad about some character interaction in later parts.

A Tier - World with good immersive, just enjoyable in general

  • Isekai Reincarnation Guidebook
  • A Reincarnated Druid's Survival Story in Another World
  • I’m Quitting the Knight Order
  • I Drugged the Romance Fantasy
  • A Max-Level Keeb with Maxed Out Stats
  • Otherworld Manhwa Distributor
  • I Became the Disgrace of a High Fantasy Family
  • I Made a Game Featuring Constellations
  • Restaurant For Everything In Dungeon City
  • The World After the Bad Ending
  • The Strongest, but the Genre Is Magical Girl
  • Surviving in This Damned Fantasy World
  • [TS] The Retired Lich's Farming Life
  • Don't Worry I'm Just an Ordinary Bandit
  • The Strongest Witch in History
  • The Supreme Judge of Hell Wants To Rest
  • I Misread a Book and Became an Agent in a World Where Instant Death Awaits
  • The Returned Hero Wants to Live in Peace
  • Never Mess with the Village Chief
  • I Became a Wendigo in the Fantasy World
  • Retired, So I'm Making a Fresh Start
  • The Elven Archmage Travels Through the Apocalypse
  • Apocalypse Broadcast
  • I Became an OP High School Girl in a Light Novel
  • The Frontier Lord's Survival in Another World
  • I Became the World Tree (Giant Firewood)
  • I Became a Non-Human Writer in Isekai
  • I Became a Rolling Madman
  • The Healer in the Murim World is Obsessed Over
  • The Guardian Dragon Wants More Nap Time

B Tier - good read, without any big flaws, but bit lacking in some ways

  • Seoul Dragon
  • Monster-Taming Streamer
  • My Flowerpot Has Been Colonized by Elves
  • I Became an Elf with Infinite Stats
  • A Plethora of Infidels in Cyberpunk
  • Have You Heard of Automatic Magic?
  • I Became an OP Mercenary in Cyberpunk
  • I Can See the Memory of a Sword
  • Overpowered in a Cyberpunk Game
  • Building a Village to Survive in a Ruined World
  • I Applied a Cheat Mode to a Murim Game

Those are novels that I have read and rated, do recommend on novels you liked and may you encounter good novels ahead!

Gems in Novelpia, one of the Novel Apps of All Time

(changed the title because the post got removed lol)

Not in any order:

  1. An Office Worker at the Anomaly Management Bureau (Completed)

- SCP/abnormality management + management team with abilities.

- Don't let the Novelpia book cover fool you into thinking it's a gooner novel. There's not even a character in the novel that matches the appearance of the cover girl.

  1. Escape from the Haunted Hotel (Ongoing)

- same as above but more on horror (haven't read all so can't describe much, but they say that it's way better)

  1. Becoming a Financial Director of an Academy on the Brink of Bankruptcy (Completed)

- Greatest Estate Developer MC becomes a financial manager and has to deal with all the bullshit decisions of the school's principal while needing to think of all clever plans to maintain the #1 academy.

  1. The Court Physician Cured the Villainess and Ran Away (Completed)

- You signed up in this app because of this book.

- A classic 'enemies to lovers' romance novel.

  1. I Became the Youngest Son of a Romance Novel (Completed)

- Might be a wild take to be called a gem, I agree. This novel contains all the good things in a slice of life genre. MC's mom, a.k.a most powerful woman in the continent, who lost you for 10 years finally discovers you, and MC needs to act cute to survive from his jealous siblings and get pampered by his mom.

  1. Otherworldy TRPG Game Master (Completed)

- An illusion mage MC who introduces the world to D&D and incorporates it in reality through illusion magic. Has a character trio that makes reading this novel so fun: a degenerate MC, a tsundere overpowered mage who stops the MC from his degeneracy, and another degenerate lesbian succubus who wants to steal the tsundere mage from the MC.

Honorable Mentions:

- I Picked Up a Witch from a Novel

- The Romance Fantasy Novel MC is Only Into Me

- The Main Heroines are Trying to Kill Me

- Becoming Professor Moriarty's Probability (im not sure about this tbh)

- I've Been Mistaken for a Great War Strategist (if you can stomach novels where MC has 100% luck (although MC becomes a menace when he does lock in))

- The Civil Servant in a Romance Fantasy Novel (haven't read yet but many are saying it's good)

- The Villainess I Served for 13 Years Has Fallen (haven't read yet but many are saying it's good)

Notes:

- yea yea it's subjective

- pls suggest more in the comments

I once read a story but I can't remember it's name and searching for it so far has been successless.

It's about a man who found a dragon, but this dragon gave him three eggs that hatched into three dragons, and he turned into an adventurer a little bit later, I got into it because of an add here on Reddit. I didn't read it fully (because it asked for payment) but I want to re-read it, can anyone help me find it, it did or get deleted?
