I’ve been looking at openings in the Gulf (UAE, Saudi, Qatar, Bahrain) and a few other places in the region. The packages look strong compared with what I’m seeing elsewhere, but the security situation keeps making me pause.

I’m not talking about active war zones. I’m talking about the wider regional tensions that have been present for years and occasionally flare up. Has anyone here recently accepted or turned down roles in the Middle East because of that?

As of now, I only have Taiwan in my head and work there as a factory worker.

Working abroad is harder than I ever imagined. 💔

I came here with one simple goal: to save for my retirement and build a better future for myself. But sometimes, I can’t help wondering if my decision to work abroad was wrong from the very beginning.

Parang simula pa lang, ang dami nang hindi naging madali. Lagi na lang akong nahihirapan, parang laging malas, and I always feel like I’m the one who has to adjust to everything. Minsan napapatanong na lang ako sa sarili ko, “Ako ba talaga ang may mali? Bakit parang lahat na lang ang hirap?”

Sobrang pagod na ako, physically and emotionally. Gusto ko na lang umiyak, pero kahit iyakan, wala akong sariling space para ilabas lahat ng bigat na nararamdaman ko. I keep trying to be strong because I don’t really have anyone I can open up to.

Ayoko namang umuwi sa Pilipinas na walang naipon. Kasi kahit gaano ka magsikap at magpakapagod, parang bills lang din ang hinahabol mo. You sacrifice your comfort, your time, your peace of mind, and even your happiness, hoping that someday, all of this will be worth it.

But honestly, I’m tired. I’m tired of pretending that I’m okay when deep inside, I’m barely holding myself together.

I don’t know if I just need to be stronger, if I made the wrong decision, or if life is simply testing me right now.

Sa mga kapwa OFW diyan, naranasan n’yo rin ba ’to? How do you keep going when you’re already exhausted, lonely, and starting to question yourself? 😔

I been working corporate job here in ph more than a decade, nasasawa na ko, walang asenso, career wise, di na din ako ng ggrow, rat race lang talaga.. saka feeling ko graduate na talaga ko sa corpo jobs.. want to try abroad kahit Ibang line of work. Pwede pa ba? How?😭 im 37 btw.

So let say your a Girl, almost 30 and you only have a corporate work/desk job experience but you want to go abroad and earn big. So you make a plan to work abroad regardless of what job it would be.

What would be your plan?

Which country?

What job?

Are you going to enroll to a TESDA Training? which one?

or Are you going to apply to agency that doesn't require any experience?

What's your earning growth plan?

Are you planning to work for 5,10,15,20 years or so from One job abroad if you can? or would you be always looking for the next big thing?

Nagkaroon kami ng issue ng friend ko sa pag asikaso ng documents ko. Wala na akong magagawa dahil inuulit niya yun. Need kong gumawa ng new spa dahil ang tagal na niya. Pwede po ba ako makihingi ng konting help?

Planning to go sa Taiwan as a Factory Worker. currently working sa corporate. Any recommended agency po na walang placement fee?
