Nathan Scott or Pacey Witter?

When I watched One Tree Hill two years ago I thought there was truly no 90s/2000s boy that could steal my heart like Nathan Scott. He is literally king of the teen show boyfriends. However, I just finished Dawson's Creek and have fallen head over heels to Pacey Witter. I had some scary thoughts such as, do I prefer him to Nathan Scott? Are they equal? Can they even be compared when they're so different? Who do you guys prefer?

Should I watch One Tree Hill?

So I just saw on Netflix a show called One Tree Hill and I remember one friend of mine who was a hardcore fan on this show and James Lafferty. It’s a very long show to step into and I don’t wanna drag myself to just watch for the sake of it till the end. Is watching all seasons worthwhile!?

Dan

I just started season 3 so no spoilers please but I just really wanted to say that Dan is the most iconic villain I have ever seen in a 2000’s teen drama. I genuinely thought he was turning into a good guy in season 2 so when it was revealed that he hired Jules to mess with Keith.. oh my gosh… the evil laugh he did. I hate the man but I love the drama he brings.

Just had to write this after seeing him glue the phone to Deb’s face.

Jake Controversial Opinion

I have been rewatching One Tree Hill again and generally I have always though people exaggerate how good Jake is. Don't get me wrong he is a great guy but I didn't remember him being the awesome guy he was!!

I am in season 1 ep 4 and man he was awesome. In some way I am kind of glad he leaves because I know the writers would have made him do something crappy as they made every main character making atleast one very dumb mistake.

While watching though I had a controversial opinion what if Brooke and Jake ended up together. There is no Jake and Peyton because Brooke deserves someone not tainted by her best friend!!

Jake is someone who is perfect for Brooke he sees through her bullshit, he is mature and give her space to still be herself. Add Ginny it give Brooke something she always wanted which is a family and stability. Jake could have been to Brooke what Haley was too Nathan.

By doing this we could have avoided the love triangle and have Brooke and Peyton actually be good friends and not be as toxic as they were especially before the time jump.

Lucas in SeASON 9

Isn't it weird that Lucas didn't have a major role in rescuing Nathan. I think the reason of his entrance in S9 was plainly because fans wanted to see him else he didn't add much to storyline in rescuing Nathan.

The Lindsey story line

The more I watch season 5. The more I realized the Lindsey storyline was so stupid.

“Oh I can’t stop thinking about you. I love you. Please don’t leave. Please let’s work this out”.

Then a few episodes later he’s calling Peyton to come to Vegas to get married?

Lame writing. But yet, we all know who wrote it.

Does anyone know why Brooke is so separated from everyone else in certain episodes this season?

I'm currently rewatching S4, and I noticed that a lot of her scenes in the first half are mostly with Rachel. She and Haley hang out a few times, but it's just an observation. It definitely feels like a writing choice as opposed to a behind-the-scenes reason because I remember Sophia and Hilarie saying that people purposely started drama between them to help make Brooke and Peyton's beef feel more real. Did Sophia ever mention it on Drama Queens?

James Lafferty and Stephen Colletti Everyone Is Doing Great

What are you guys genuine reaction to Everyone Is Doing Great? Because IMDB has so many 10/10 reviews. While I didn't hate the show it definitely needs a lot of work. Or am I just being way to hard on this show. Because for me Seth and Andrea were the only good parts of the show.

Also guys lets be honest here so we actually get more seasons. This is not an insult to the actors just an opinion.

Mods: I am sorry if this is a low effort post/ irrelevant I am just curious about how most people are reacting the show. I understand if it is irrelevant and you delete it.

For my OTH x Noah Kahan fans

I’m once again listening to The Great Divide and I’m once again thinking, if OTH was airing today, Noah Kahan would be an artist I’d be SHOCKED not to hear across episodes/seasons.

Made me think about which Noah Kahan song (across all his albums) would you use to describe your favorite character(s)?

Dan rescues Jamie

In a rewatch - Season 5 Episode 12 Hundred.

Remember when Dan brings Jamie home from rescuing him from Nanny Carrie?

Little Jamie, walks in the room, they embrace him not understanding how he just showed up, everyone is stunned as they ask how, Jamie says Grandpa Dan saved him. Dan comes walking in the room.

The look on everyone’s face, then the zoom-ish camera to those whose life he affected more, camera back to Dan, straight face -to-a smile face. Then it goes off.

What can you imagine each one is thinking seeing Dan Scott the hero, walking in the room?
