Faarooq and Ahmed Johnson get into a heated argument on WWE LiveWire in 1996.

Ahmed Johnson was guest-hosting LiveWire in 1996 when Faarooq called. It didn’t take long before they were arguing and threatening each other live on the air.

kane frizz

i just discovered OSW after seeing someone mention kane frizz in a comment section, and as someone who was absolutely captivated by the frizz progression during my first watch of the 2001 royal rumble, i was thrilled to find out there's a community of us out there who are enthralled by this phenomenon.

i just wanted to share an honorable mention which is the steel cage match against triple h (february 1, 1999) kanes hair is visibly dripping from the ends when he comes down the ramp, but somehow during the twelve minute scuffle, his hair dries up HUGE. like you have to see it for yourself to believe it because these pictures don't even do it justice. this could possibly break the frizz meter. i'm thinking somewhere near 150%

it's also notable that x-pac comes out and legitimately splits kane open with the steel door, which leaves the mop visibly streaked with blood by the end of the match reducing the frizz level down to about 75%, so the maximum frizz is short-lived, but still unbelievable to see.

TIL that the younger generations have a version of "rat-faced knacker" but as a compliment.

There is a term created by GenZ for unconventionally attractive boyfriends with sharp, angular, mouse-like features and a lanky build....for example Timothee Chalamet...the term is "hot rodent boyfriend.

What wrestler are you surprised never won the WWE or World heavyweight title?

There’s so many talented wrestlers who seemed like they should have had at least one run with the belt, for me it’s Alister Black he had a unique look and move set, his promos might have been random spooky nonsense but at least it’s not the same old I’m the best and I deserve the belt stuff, and you’d think he could have won a top title for at least a month during the whole thunder dome era since WWE could have really used that time to experiment with potential champions.

I forgot about WCW selling their merchandise on QVC.

Cool story about how and where Sting got the idea for the Scorpion Death Lock, btw.
