Block of historical Spanish beeswax retrieved from the fabled "Beeswax Wreck" on the north Oregon coast and bought by the Lewis and Clark expedition from Natives [980x964]

The wax was part of the luxury trade cargo aboard the Santo Cristo de Burgos, a Spanish Manila galleon that vanished in 1693. The ship wrecked near Nehalem Spit.
For over two centuries, fragments and whole blocks of this remarkably preserved wax-along with shards of Chinese porcelain-have washed ashore on the Oregon coast, where they were historical treasures for both Native American tribes and later beachcombers.

Why was Matty Blake added to the cast?

I’m sure he’s a very nice guy and all - BUT - his involvement makes the show seem cheesy and not a serious investigatory effort.

The staged questions and looking directly into the camera seems to serve only one purpose - Letting us all in on the joke that is just a science fiction show.

I really hope Travis Taylor is paid really well because this version of the “show” must be destroying his real-life credibility.

I just saw a new drug commercial that is perfect for DrunkIslanders

The tag line is "say Yep to Vyepti". I think Billy would approve. If they don't run this during season 14, I'll lose my mind! I miss you all, DrunkIslanders!
