Acquiring some graphic design skills with 3D. Inspired and learning from @petertarka designs
Just got back into 3D! I used to use Cinema 4D back in the day (over 15+ years now) but since it's kinda pricey I was pleasantly surprised to see Blender had Octane available! Still learning Blender and just playing around!
Also, anyone else's new OctaneRender Startup (Path Tracing) file broken? I had to go into the Compositing and add a new node and rewire [Render Layers] CompDenoised & CompBeauty to [Group Output] & [Viewer] or else my renders wouldn't Denoise..... I hope they fix this!
I made a video for the presentation of the new Caro chair collection by Orangebox, a brand specialized in office design furniture.
The video explores the versatility of Caro through different configurations, colors, and environments. From workspaces to more collaborative and social areas, the collection adapts to different uses while maintaining a consistent visual identity.
I used C4D and Octane.
The music and sound FX are original, made by my colleague Alejandro Zoras (www.cabildeep.com).
Soon I will upload the entire project to Behance.

Thank you very much!

Was wondering if someone could define what is wrong in this node setup, metal mesh being treated as a solid, not filtering daylighting. Using poliigons add on for blender and converting materials to octane under mat. Settings. Have also had difficulty scaling textures after conversion, with a transform node. Still new to node setup and octane. Apologies if the answer is very obvious just have not found any luck through tutorials. Lmk if you’d like to see my file.
Hey everyone, wanted to share a recent short-form test project blending 3D elements into real-world footage.
Always a fun challenge making digital assets feel like they naturally belong in a physical space. Would love to hear your thoughts or feedback on the integration and lighting!
