Death Bloom

A piece I made for a friend. Just getting into making arts and crafts for the first time in my thirties. Has been a really nice creative outlet after a some really rough years struggling with addiction. Been trying to collect, process, and preserve as much natural material I can get my hands on. The bones are fox scapula and vertebrae. More projects in the works.

Preservation of IUD

Hi I hope this isn’t too weird but I got my IUD removed and was able to keep it. I like to collect weird things and thought it’d be cool.

I was wondering if anyone knows how to preserve or options to jar something like this? I have never done this before. I was thinking of soaking in peroxide or rubbing alcohol and putting it in a jar with some sort of desiccant and sealing it? If anyone has any suggestion or ideas that would be great.
