Wheels for slippery indoor concrete bowl? [38YO]

My local indoor bowl is super slippery. Talked with the people running the park and they told me the builders treated it with an outdoor finish. He said it was a real issue, they'd tried to fix to no avail.

I skated with 103a 55mm bones wheels and slipped out a couple of times and got some whip lash in the process. I'm wonder if I need to switch out wheels to learn to skate this park at least a little bit more safely. Considering getting some wide 58mm wheels that are a bit softer.

Tricks are not really a concern right now. I just need to learn to carve and do some slash grinds.

What are your recommendations?

Edit: I ended up getting some 97a 58mm spitfire full conical. Since people mentioned dust, I did some research and decided to go with as much surface area as possible and a bit softer. I was tempted to get the dragons, but the ones I could get my hands on were pretty narrow, so I thought it would be better to go with the full conicals.

Does Anyone Recognize This[38YO]

Hey Hey, I was fortunate enough to pick this up yesterday, and I was surprised I couldn't find any info on this deck. Does anyone recognize this relic from the good old days? There is not much left of the graphics. Thanks in advance[38YO].

PREVENT THAT TRAGEDY! [35YO]

First sesh on the fresh Limousine deck and it goes straight in the fountain! [also the first week that the fountains are back on]

Of course, I landed the noseslide first try when not filming. Then the camera comes out and my board goes for a swim. So be it boys.

First day after 17 years break [33YO]

Today was the first time I’ve skated in 17 years. A few days ago, I saw a guy go by on a skateboard and it got me hooked again. I ordered a complete skateboard and matching shoes from an online shop. Everything arrived today, so I went out for my first session.

I really enjoyed the ride; I slowly started to get my balance back and even felt bold enough to try a few stationary ollies. However, on my way back home, I noticed a slight discomfort in my ankle. And—surprise, surprise—the new shoes had caused a huge blister that burst, leaving my foot completely out of commission.

I hope to gradually rediscover my passion for this sport without hurting myself too much in the process.

My setup is a MOB (a German brand) complete, size 8.25, with Polster trucks and very hard wheels. I’m thinking about getting some bigger, softer wheels and perhaps some new bearings. Any advice on how to avoid injuries and ensure a successful comeback?

Best regards!

Skateboarding the morning after rain is fun and games until one invisible wet patch turns your bowl line into a near death experience 😂 [32YO]

new ones over the past week [38YO]

All new excluding slappy bs 5050, that one I have known for awhile.

front board needs lots of work. Feels really unnatural.

Most pumped about getting some lipslides.

Next up are slappy crooks and feebles.

Where do you keep track of your tricks/clips? [36yo]

Ben from the old skaters weekly challenge here 👋

I’ve been realizing over the years that most skate clips basically disappear into the void 😅

Buried in camera rolls, old hard drives, random Instagram posts, Reddit threads, etc.

The weekly challenge here got me thinking about it because submissions slowly turn into a sort of skate history/profile over time - you can check out mine here

Curious how you all handle it.
