I can't accept preapproved card offer

I got a preapproved card offer in my email. I want the card for the 5% cashback at Walmart. Every time I try to accept it, I get the page with the terms to read and select my address. I hit Next, and it throws an error. I didn't see an appropriate category for this in help, so I'm posting here to see what people have to say before I dig deeper into their help topics to get it resolved. Reaching out to them seems to be the best option I have.

One Pay Synchrony Circus?

Long story, TLDR: Has anyone else with the Synchrony One Rewards card been asked to complete a strange hazing ritual by Synchrony after several months of regular usage and payment?

Full Story:
So I had a One account back before Walmart bought them. A bit bummed that they made a lot of changes, eliminating some of the best features of the old One accounts... but I keep the account open, because I thought it would be handy to be able to deposit money at Walmart and such. Though I have never actually used that feature...

Anyway, I got the Synchrony One Walmart Rewards card thingy because they offered me 5% cash back on my Walmart purchases, which is better than the 2% I get from Citi.

All has been fine for several months. I use the One Rewards card as my default payment method for Walmart Pay, I get the cashback, I automatically pay my bill every month, etc.

But this morning my wife went to put in our weekly Walmart order, and the payment was declined. A while later I got a voicemail to call Synchony's fraud department... pretty typical, happens occasionally. Though it was odd because it matched my previous spending patterns perfectly.

So, I dig out my card and call the number on the back (Never call the number they give you in the voicemail, it could be a scammer, though I was pretty sure this was legit because I had the problem with the payment) and call them. I get through all the stupid menus and questions they ask multiple times, typical credit card stuff that is annoying but expected... then I get a representative on the line. She informs me that I need to do a whole laundry list of stupid things like sending them a 5 second video, a code, pictures, etc. I mean, I have never had a credit card company demand so much stupidity in my life!

I informed her that I had no time nor patience for such tom-foolery. She told me I could wait to receive a letter from them and call them back... so apparently the letter means I won't have to humiliate myself with their strange hazing ritual?

I don't know, but I don't think that a little extra cashback is worth all that jazz. So we will see. I cashed out my rewards just in case they decide to close my account.

So- thats a long story, just wondering if anyone else has had this issue?

Are Allpoint ATM free to use "without" direct deposit?

FAQ webpage says it is but the app says something about having direct deposit. It also says you can deposit cash for free at CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, family dollar and the dollar tree.

App glitch?

I just activated my card via the website yesterday and then downloaded the app, today I’m getting a notification on my phone from the app telling me to set a pin for my card. I already set a pin when I activated my card yesterday. Confused is this an app glitch? or do I need to redo my pin again?

OnePay Reloadable Mastercard application

What is the application process like to get one of the OnePay Reloadable Debit Mastercards?

I owe a normal brick and mortar bank some money, so I cannot currently open another normal bank account. Will owing a normal bank deny me from getting the permanent OnePay card?

An account with a business I deal with was closed due to OnePay incompetence

There’s really nothing that can be done at this point, but I just wanted to share my story. I am very unhappy with OnePay right now.

For the purposes of this post, the business name is going to be replaced by just “name”.

About a week ago, I saw a charge come through on my account from a business shown as “app.com”

I had no idea what this was about, and when I went to that website, it had nothing to do with anything I’ve ever heard of.

So I contacted OnePay customer service via chat in the OnePay app, explained my situation, and then they started the dispute, and then recapped the information from the conversation with me. But in the recap, they showed the business name as “name-app.com”.

Upon seeing that I recognized who the business actually was, explained that to the agent and told them to cancel this dispute. I thought that’s what had had occurred, but apparently the dispute transaction was too far through to reverse at that point.

But they didn’t explain that to me. So at the end of the conversation, I thought everything was copacetic and we could all forget that I ever attempted to dispute the transaction.

Over the weekend, I received an email from the business informing me that my account had been banned because I had violated their terms of service.

At first I was totally bewildered by this because I could not imagine what I could’ve possibly done wrong.

I thought about it for a bit and then it occurred to me that what might have happened, which is in fact what did happen, was that they got they got a charge back from OnePay for the disputed charge.

I emailed the business back, explained the situation and got a canned reply saying they would follow up with me .

A few days after that, OnePay credited my account for the non-dispute dispute.

I I contacted OnePay through chat again, explained the situation, and basically the agent’s attitude was they did everything right.

If the business name had shown in the OnePay app the way it did in OnePay system, you wouldn’t be reading this now.

This is total incompetence on OnePay’s part. And I am furious.

The only thing good about this at this point is that I could actually use the money. So I guess that’s nice, but I would still prefer that this never happened. And that OnePay had given me the correct information in the OnePay app from the get-go.

One Pay Reloadable debit Mastercard now what?

I bought the card at Walmart, added my initial amount, got home and activated the card. Now what do I do? I have the app. Is there anything I need to do to get the permanent card mailed to me? Any specific settings I should enable or look at?

Unable to do instant transfers to debit card

I used to be able to do an instant transfer from One pay to my other bank account using my bank's debit card, but now it gives me an error "There was an error fulfilling your request". Has anyone had this happen before? It's so frustrating because I've been able to do it all along and now it won't let me. I have plenty of money in my onepay balance.

Walmart website won't process OnePay Later purchases.

Went through the entire Apply process, goes back to Walmart page, and... nothing. This happened THREE TIMES. Still got charged, though, OF COURSE. Walmart shows no record of order, contacted klarna chat, who said it would take 1-7 business days to process 'refund.' Great. Not like I needed that money, anyway, which was the entire damn reason I used OnePay Later in the first place.

Get your shit together, guys, this makes everyone look like they don't know what they're doing.
