I know of a couple of fics that did this concept, as ive read them, but theyre discontinued/abandoned,
And since im rewatching one piece i do want to try my own take on it, but there are a couple of things im not sure about? And id love to hear your thoughts if you were someone interested in a fic like this, what would you like to see?

1- i havent completed wano, cuz of life i couldnt really finish the anime and i miss the feeling of pre time skip so i decided to watch it from the start, which is perfect for this fic but is there anything in there dynamic has changed? (For example i didnt reach this point yet- basically reached the very startttt of wano) but i do know about zoro’s promise to sanji, and that changes their dynamic significantly for me

2- filler episodes included or not? Or should i ask my readers once we reach that point?

3- never read the mangas, any differences that would affect the fic?

Idk honestly, or should i just keep note of the epsidoes and what happens in them, and decide on writing the fic or not when im caught up?

I read a One Piece fic a while ago that I really enjoyed, but I can’t for the life of me remember what it was called.
One of the main things I remember about it was that Luffy was actively avoiding Shanks.
Some scenes I remember:

- when the Red Haired pirates saw the Sunny from a distance they where excited to see them but as soon as Luffy saw their ship the Sunny did a Coup de Burst to get away from them

- the land of Wano had the StrawHat flag incased in thick glass panels, and if someone wanted to take over Wano they would have to make themselves enemies of the StrawHats by burning the Jolly Roger (wich was guarded by the samurai)

There was also something about denden calls with Luffy and Shanks being there to hear them but not actively talking to him.

I'm looking for a fanfic that was posted on Fanfiction. I've read it there a few times, but now I can't find it anywhere.

Ace and Luffy travel through time after Sabo’s “death.” At first, Ace is convinced that this is the afterlife, but then Luffy tells him what happened after Ace’s death, and Ace realizes that this is a journey through time.

According to the fanfic, Ace found his Devil Fruit in South Blue, so at some point they set out to retrieve it, stopping by Nami’s island along the way and beating up Arlong. This changes Nami’s personality. Instead of being obsessed with gold, she goes in search of Luffy and considers him her hero. Luffy takes it very hard that Nami no longer has the dream of drawing a map of the entire world.

To travel to South Blue, Ace and Luffy hijack a pirate ship along with the entire crew, except for the captain. Luffy calls them the ASL Pirates. The crew isn’t thrilled about this at first, but by the end, they’re actually glad the boys kidnapped them and keep the name Luffy gave them. Ace explains what ASL stands for.

In South Blue, Luffy sees Robin and invites her to join the crew. She also meets Ace.

Ace kills Teach and sets off for Arabasta with Marco. In the end, they both end up in Crocodile’s cage, and Ace blames Luffy for everything.

The fanfic was left unfinished and ended after the Enis Lobby arc, which never even took place because the entire battle occurred in Water 7.

I'm inclined to think the fanfic was deleted because it was in my bookmarks, and now it's gone. Or maybe I'm just really inattentive.

It's just a theory that was stuck in my head for a while now, since right after Luffy and the other worst gen defeated kaido and big mom shanks told bek “ let's go get the one piece ” and the fact that's shanks made all this move after Luffy and the others took down two yonko who had the road poneglyphs, which makes it easier for him to steal it from kid. And all the war going on in elbaf( so called shanks territory ) why isn't he showing up or is he waiting for something big ? Ik shanks did save Luffy when he was young but if you connect the dots we can most definitely say that only hito hito no mi(nika) can defeat imu and that shanks wants Luffy to defeat imu so that he can get the one piece since it's highly theorized that devil fruit user cannot reach the last island so doesn't it makes sense that shanks might just be waiting for Luffy to clear the last and hardest wall(imu) so that he can get to the one piece. It's just a theory and shanks is one of my favourite characters and according to me my theory kinna makes sense.

Please help find this fic I read where Ace leaves the whitebeard pirates. I can't remember why he leaves but he feels deeply hurt I believe. He goes to a tattoo shop to have his whitebeard mark removed or covered up. Marco and maybe thatch go after him. Also Haruta I think. Haruta fights someone outside the shop. Ace talks to either Marco or Thatch inside but it doesn't stop Ace from removing the mark.

I can't remember much else from it. It was on ao3.
