Several reports of OP17 boxes with one Alt Art and one Pandaman alt being the only hits
I've seen three separate reports of OP17 boxes having only one alt art and one Pandaman alt (two pictured).. Things aren't looking so hot with this set.

The whole issue is about “allocation.” Stores keep telling us they barely get any stock because their allocation is so low.
Then you see a picture like this and it makes you question everything. If stores are getting this much stock, why are we constantly being told there’s no allocation?
Honestly, something needs to be done. We deserve some transparency from these distributors and stores instead of being given excuses every time. Or just let the whole hobby die in vain
Is this even allowed? Can they host a pre release tourney and withhold the winner card? I’m sure Bandai would have a problem with this.
A few weeks ago I posted telling players to be patient with OP-17 and not let FOMO convince them to pay ridiculous preorder prices.
Apparently that struck a nerve.
Weeks later, someone who openly celebrates keeping sealed prices high so they can profit off players came back just to send me this.
This is what the community is up against.
Not collectors. Not normal sellers making a reasonable profit. People actively rooting for artificial scarcity and inflated prices because they know FOMO works.
So when OP-17 drops: be patient. Don’t panic buy. Don’t reward this behavior.
The more players refuse absurd prices, the less power scalpers have.
Let them sit on the cardboard.
Live like a pirate is to chase the horizon without chains: free from fear, free from rules, and free to choose your own sea. 🏴☠️❤️🏴☠️
Initially the owner was charging 70$ per person.
How is it possible that so many people are getting OP17 before the prerelease has even happened, which is meant to be a way for PLAYERS to get it early but this completely disregards that. They also make ridiculous money doing this, I just saw a guy on TikTok opening them for £500 a box.. just absolutely shameless and it’s ridiculous that Bandai is letting them all get away with it.
We've all seen the ridiculous prices this upcoming set are going for and if you've been in the hobby for more than a set the crazy prices everything since op13 has sold for. I get it if youre a 100% online store and I kinda get it if you had to buy from non distro. But to all store owners and LGS employees in here.
Howc the actual F do yall justify selling to your local community at "market" price? Especially when you are buying from and at distro prices. Like you wouldn't have the distro or the volume if it wasnt for your community so how do ypu justify ripping them off? One local store is actually selling a box to prerelease participants at 90% market that day if they played so still well over 2x msrp and im just sitting here so you just scalpers with a storefront.
So again to owners and employees. How do yall justify it to yourself. Is it just greed? Wanting to appear caring without giving up potential profit from online shipping?
I feel like R whitebeard is being underrated. The Izou card is so broken. Jozu is so good. What are some spicy lists people are cooking?
I'd love to get my hands on a case to rip, but mannnnn this is crazy.
Just learned how to play OPTCG and I really liked Roger's AA so I built my first deck with him. Any advice?
Someone on their facebook page asked where the rumors are coming from that they sold 3 pallets to a US streamer. I simply provided a link to the reddit post showing the pictures and this was their response to me. Immediately threatening me with legal action
I was just wondering where I could find some cute deck boxes and playmats! I like having all my pieces to match my aesthetic and my leader! I have seen a gorgeous Pudding playmat on OPTCG.GG, so now I’m just wondering to find a cute deckbox!
His kids were playing other TCG and they asked him why One Piece still didn't have the card game. And Oda requested Bandai to make it. 🤣 What a flex by him to tell Bandai to make the card game for his kids to play.
Pretty cool considering I can't ever find anything for this game lol
Only a year old, but still. Cool find.
Hi there!
I've been a collector for over 2 years now, but lately I've been trying to get into the card game as one of my close friends, whom which I played Hearthstone back in the day, told me it's fairly easy and fun.
I went to my local game shop and they informed me that on Saturday there's going to be the OP-17 Pre release event, with the rainbow luffy and all.
He told me as long as I understand English, I'm good to go and can have a blast.
So is it a good idea?
Is there anyway I can try the game a bit? Maybe on iOS too? Or a website so I can play it during work hours maybe?
Thank you!
