I'm getting this phone for 43k from an offline store..Is it still worth it to buy this phone??
i need decent camera , decent battery and good performane
Edit -: Bought it for 42k
So this is the sot am getting . Idk how everyone else is getting that good. Someone recommend me to use suspend cache but unfortunately didn't work.
After using Samsung Galaxy M52 5g for almost 3 yrs, for the first time, I purchased a phone over 20k. After careful consideration with performance, display, battery as priority, purchased my first OP device OnePlus 13R for 41k from Amazon and ignored Nothing phone 3 for this.
For almost 2x of my budget, I did not find that much of a big difference in the camera performance. I started to question my decision of purchasing this phone.
I am already using the latest OxygenOS patch release version. What can be done to improve camera output at the software level?
(Also, posting for the 1st time on reddit)
16.0.3.800 update says two sets of bluetooth earbuds can be used to listen same audio with your friends. Does it work? Also after this update any battery drop? Should i update? What do you think?
I wanted to buy this case for my 13r but I am confused because it is showing the picture of 13 but in the text it is written 13r so what should I do?
Wanna know if there is any effect if I turn on developer options. What do you think? I might change a few settings here and there like increasing screen smoothness and stuff . Will it affect battery life heavily?
When i try to unlock picture from private safe gives me this error. I already have "My files" installed. When i click install button doesn't work. Anyone to fix it?
I have a OnePlus 13R (CPH2691) running OxygenOS 16.0.8.300 (EX01V30P01).
I recently tried the most hyped battery "calibration" method that many people recommend:
• Drain the battery to 0%
• Let the phone switch off automatically
• Charge it while powered off for 1 hour 30 minutes
• Turn it on
After doing this, I noticed several strange issues with the built-in battery statistics.
Instead of resetting after a complete charge, it kept showing:
• 14 days 15 hours
• 14 days 16 hours
• 14 days 17 hours
• 14 days 19 hours
• 15 days 11 hours
How is this possible after charging the phone to 100%?
Shouldn't this counter reset after a full charging cycle?
After unplugging the phone from 100%, the Screen-on Time didn't reset.
Instead, it already showed values like:
• 4h 50m
• 5h 06m
• 5h 17m
It later increased normally, and currently I'm at:
• 31% battery remaining
• 7h 49m Screen-on Time
But why didn't the Screen-on Time reset after a complete charge?
During the same discharge cycle, the Screen-off Time changed like this:
• 2h 57m
• 2h 54m
• 2h 55m
• 2h 42m
• 2h 30m
• Currently: 2h 09m
As far as I know, Screen-off Time should only increase, not decrease.
Is this a bug in OxygenOS?
AccuBattery vs OnePlus Battery Stats
I'm also using AccuBattery Pro, which currently shows:
• 100% → 31% battery
• 6h 40m Screen-on Time
• 19h 29m since unplugging
Meanwhile, the built-in OnePlus battery page shows:
• 7h 49m Screen-on Time
• Used since last full charge: 15 days 11 hours
The two apps are reporting completely different battery statistics.
My Thoughts
At this point, it feels like the built-in battery statistics on OxygenOS are inaccurate or not resetting properly after a complete charging cycle.
The phone also reports 100% Battery Health, but when the battery statistics themselves appear inconsistent, it's difficult to know how reliable the battery reporting actually is.
Questions
• Is anyone else experiencing this on the OnePlus 13R?
• Is this a known OxygenOS 16 bug?
• Is there any way to reset or fix the battery statistics properly?
• Have you noticed similar inconsistencies in Screen-on Time, Screen-off Time, or "Used since last full charge"?
Any insights would be appreciated.
I have a 1-month-old OnePlus 13R (bought for ₹38k). Should I sell it for ₹36k–38k to buy the Nothing Phone 3 with a charger for ₹42k during the Amazon sale for a better camera 📸 and an IP68 rating? 💦 What do you think? 🤔
I wanted to buy a budget phone and i really like 13r but it's out of stock even on it's official site when can i expect re stock or shall i move on to different phones
Hey guys should I buy one plus13r . I do heavy gaming sometime and daily use it normal social media app . Is it has good battery backup because i work at shop for 10-12 and i don't carry charge with me at work place and does it long last for 4-5 year . Please help this my first phone.
I am not a techie by any means, consider my digital tech knowledge equivalent to that of a grandma. So now that's said, I'm honestly alarmed by the fact that my screen off time is so high, higher than my actual screen itself.
I am a very casual user, I use my phone for watching videos on YT, Gpay, Maps, Occasional AI applications like gemini or perplexity and on my off days I doom scroll on soc media (this day that the stats attached depicts one such lazy day of the week).
I've never done any CPU intensive tasks like heavy gaming or editing, anything as such. My battery life and drain is honestly not impressive either, roughly 10 to 15% on casual usage per hour.
It's been less than a month since I purchased this device from oneplus official store.
Can someone please provide some insight as to why this is happening, could this be the reason for unusually high battery consumption, what are the solutions, quick fixes that I can do from my end to mitigate this problem.
Even if the recommended solutions are a Lil tech savvy, I wouldn't mind trying it by learning to do the procedure through YT or tech blogs, It'd be great if you're willing to share the source as well. Thanks in advance, I also apologise for the horrible formatting, I'm using the mobile application.
After every OOS 16 updates performance increases but my 13r still gets warmer in 30mins gameplay of CODM
