From what I've seen everyone or at least most people already got the 16.1 update but I haven't gotten mine yet, is there a way to see when it'll be available in my area?

Should I wait, or is it okay to update?

Performance has increased after the update but phone gets heater while playing, is the phone learning my usage or is it the update???

Edit: The battery drains faster than previous update

Bought a new OnePlus 13R (8 days ago) and within a few days, the battery percentage got stuck at exactly 51% for nearly 10 hours despite normal usage. Eventually the phone suddenly shut down completely.

The next day, the device started showing:

“This battery may not be genuine and could pose a safety risk. Please visit the service center” and at times the the System UI notification showed "Battery Connection Problem, please visit the service center".

After that, the phone would not charge beyond 51%, and every time I plugged it in, the same “battery not genuine” warning appeared.

Took it to the official OnePlus service center. They factory reset the phone, after which it started charging normally again and they found no fault in it.

Can you tell me what could have happened?

All Oneplus 13r users... Whoever updated the device to the latest version I mean the recent one.. did u find any changes regarding camera like UI? Any added filters? Or any improvements in Camera performance?

Also feel free to share about the battery drain, SOT.. etc after the update

I am going to purchase my first phone and need a phone perfect in the 40k My requirement are something like

A decent camera

A gaming balanced phone

And mainly that doesn't lag on using the phone much longer period 5 6 years somewhere like that

That doesn't get heat or laggy on using the phone for a full day

I am a college student of of b tech so I also need to take classes sometimes

I also watch movies and watch YouTube a little much

I am very much confused which one should I consider ??

Yesterday I had updated my phone to the latest update 16.0.7.200 and today in the morning around 7:30AM I checked my phone it was totally unresponsive and behaving oddly the screen wasn't turning on but I could get fp scanned and then phone almost felt like its frozen, then I was even unable to restart it, somehow I managed to restart and now its working normal, I can't exactly describe what happened I guess it was a very random issue but it scared the shit out of me, I'm thinking of rollback to previous version but then the phone will be factory reset, and setting it up again which is the most tedious thing ever.

My phone gets heat, does it will always be like this or will it change after somedays??
