[WTS] Oris Divers Sixty-Five "Cotton Candy" Steel – Wild Green – Full Set, Mint. price in comments
[Question] What’s a fair private-sale value for this Oris ProPilot Date?
Hi everyone — I’m looking for a realistic market-value check, not listing this for sale here and not soliciting offers or DMs.
The watch is an Oris ProPilot Date / Big Crown ProPilot Date, reference 01 751 7760 4015-07 8 22 08P. It’s the 44mm blue-dial version on the stainless steel bracelet. I won it in a raffle/giveaway and received it in 2025.
I’m based in Taiwan. The lowest new/listed price I’ve found on local e-commerce is around NT$50,000, which is roughly US$1.56k–1.57k. I understand listed prices are not the same as actual sold prices, so I’m trying to figure out a realistic private-party resale value.
It comes with the original box and warranty card, but I’m not sure how much warranty coverage remains or exactly when the warranty expires.
Assuming the watch is a full set and only lightly handled / unworn, what would be a fair private-sale value today? Would the Taiwan/Asia market differ much from the US or EU market for this model?
Again, this is only a valuation question — no sale or trade is being offered here. Thanks in advance.
Oris diver 65 bezel play normal?
Hi all! Lurker here and new Oris fan. Picked up this new diver 65 in forest green as my first Oris and am totally loving it. I am however wondering if the bezel action and play are on par for this model or if i got a lemon? Id definitely prefer it to be tighter.
Thanks for any input!
New Pick up! - Oris Diver Date
After I tried this watch on about a week ago, I could not stop thinking about it. I finally pulled the trigger on it and couldn’t be anymore happier with it.
3 year update on my daily Aquis cal 400-2
Well, it’s not amazing. After roughly 3 years of daily wear, about six weeks ago I woke up to a dead watch. No idea why. Just dead as a door nail. I’m not going to say I babied it, but I also didn’t wear it when I would go mountain biking either. That’s a G-Shock job.
Sent it in to The Watchmaker for a warranty claim, and they’ve had it for a month with no updates aside from some intake pictures. Included.
In the meantime I’m wearing my now 20+ year old Seiko SKX781, which despite being worn really hard prior to the Aquis, has never failed me. 3 years in storage, a good few shakes and it powered right up like I never stopped wearing it.
I’m unsure where this leaves me on how I feel about my Oris, needless to say I’m pretty disappointed.
Oris on This Fine Day of Independence.
Little bit of July 4th boating with the Oris 1965 Diver. Hope everyone finds theirselves well on the 250 th celebration day.
Re-entering Club Oris
This is the Oris Classic Regulator 7473 35mm. I had a pointer date a long time ago but it was too big for my liking .This is a much better fit for me . I was in the market for a small steel regulator dial watch and this scratched the itch perfectly!
Oris sixty five - Rotor noise
Hi all,
I've recently purchased a sixty five divers, a watch I've wanted for along time but to my disappointment the rotor noise is driving me nuts!
Sounds like something is loose and rattling inside, have taken it to my AD here in Melbourne and they assured me it was normal.
Curious to know what everyone else's experience is with this?
I can understand some noise from rotor moving but mine sounds horrible and rattles.
At this point I feel like Oris is junk! build on everything else feels solid but the rattle is no good.
Just bought my first luxury watch and it's an Oris Cherry!
[Advice] Torn between the new smooth-bezel Oris Big Crown Pointer Date and CW Sandhurst Series 2
Hey everyone!
I’m torn between two black-dial, smooth-bezel tool watches. I’m looking for an understated, versatile daily driver that can hold its own next to my Tudor Pelagos FXD.
Here is what I’m weighing:
Oris Big Crown Pointer Date (Ref. 01 754 7798 4064-07 8 20 06) vs Christopher Ward C65 Sandhurst Series 2.
I also considered Sinn 556, Longines Spirit and Classic Oris Big Crown but didn't like them for various reasons.
Appreciate any specifics or long-term wear experiences you guys can share!
Word Has it that Ancient Mariners Used the “White Star” to Navigate the High Seas
Seems far-fetched but I wasn’t there so I can’t dispute it.
As a Yankee should
As a lifelong Yankee and mechanical watch fan, I had to do it. A fine piece and the branding is just right. Not obsessive with Yankee stuff (you can’t even tell). It’s the little touches, colors, look and feel that makes this special.
Wow this looks tremendous
This looks amazing although the thought of spending nearly $8k gives me pause

New Chronoris
Picked up this new limited edition Chronoris chronograph at Sam’s Club of all places for ~60% off msrp. It came with a leather carrying case and another grey nato strap! Really surprised to see it there as this was limited to 200 units a few years back. Hoping to get the OEM bracelet from The Watchmaker soon for it.
Bullseye for my first automatic watch!
Need to get a smaller strap for it because it’s still loose even on the last hole—would love recommendations for a strap with smaller size options that would look nice paired with this watch. I love it so much!
