School dilemma - we can either send our kids to a subpar orthodox school or a lovely conservative school, which is better?

Obviously I’m simplifying here but the issue is the orthodox school really is subpar. Not good academically, the teachers are overworked, etc etc.
the conservative school is great.
The only thing the orthodox school has going besides hashkafa is more kids so more social opportunity, and the families are more like us socio-economically.

The key here is- we’re not super observant. We are traditional. And politically conservative. That’s where the conservative school falls short mostly as they have a liberal idealogy.

Can a disabled man use a bus to go to shul on shabbat if other options arent possible (modern orthodox)

Hello

I am a man planning to relocate to montreal to convert to judaism, there is a modern orthodox shul im interested in and would rather convert orthodox as it is accepted by all branches, the issue is im a wheelchair user and to go to the shul there s a highway making using an adapted bus obligatory would disregarding the prohibition on riding on shabbat be permissible if its the only safe manner to get there

thank you
