I ​​had ​been planning to watch ONK for a very long time but never did.I had spoiled myself the ending and what had​ happened to ai even before starting,screw YT for that.I started watching it and completed it in about 4 days,for all 3seasons.And all I can say is WOW,while feeling empty and slightly depressed inside iyk what I mean.

Whenever is see any edit about ai,aqua or ending,or think about 1st episode or about ai - I feel so empty that I want to let out my tears.

When I started watching first episode,It was all rainbow and sunshine for me till THAT started to happen.even though I knew what will happen,I was broken and cried at THAT part of the first episode.I had started to take a liking for ai early in the episode,and how the story was moving forward,but It all got crushed,and that made me SO sad and empty feeling.

I was involved in this series so much ,to the point where I spoiled myself,willingly,about what will happen next(I did this 5-6 times by asking google or chatgpt​)

This show have made me cry or atleast tear about 4-5 ​times from what I remember the parts that struck me like a truck where :- ending of 1st episode,the part where aqua thought of ai surviving,and I cried/teared up randomly while watching on the mention of ai about 1-2 times,and when ​I read the last 5 chapters from manga(Like I said , I was involved in it so much,that I had no patience left in me to wait for next season) i CRIED.

Finally,i wanted to write this for 2-3 days,but never got the time to do so,now I can finnally be in peace,now that I have let out my feelings.English is not my first language so forgive me for any mistakes.Also I am team"original ending for anime"

TLDR - Ending Bad, Reader mad/sad/dissappointed - needs to vent

I read before the ending was bad, but this takes the cake.

What in the everloving fuck was that?

The fact that Aqua is willing to put everyone through this much pain again out of nothing but stupidity and selfishness causes me a lot of grief.

This saviour complex bullshit is horrible and goes completely against his whole character arc before.

Ruby reexperiences her I'd say third worst trauma and then... she gets over it because she's" living the dream".

Choosing this ending makes everything kind of end in a circle

Ruby now lies even though she didnt want to be someone who does

Aqua is fucking dead (and yes I'm one of the ppl who would've appreciated sufferboy to actually get to be happy and not die)

Kana gets years and years of romantic developement and her fn love interest goes well fuck you and kills themselves

Akane fails at the ONE THING she set out to do

And dont get me started on the 13 reasons why esque message of : Kill yourself and achieve your goals, they're gonna get over it .. actually quite easy all things considered

How can someone take such a dump on years of their own work.
