Hey guys,

Last time i shared with you my concern about our city and wanted to gather proofs about how bad the infrastructure is here in Oujda, so we built a website to make gathering proofs easier even from your phones.

For now it does not have any data yet, since it just went live, i count on you guys to use it/share it, it will help us to see really how bad our city’s infrastructure is bad and use all data to generate report and send it the authorities

Im opened for any suggestions and enhancement to this new born project.

Not like those shitty overpriced places like saf saf and opheon, their breakfast was shit and overpriced

 ففهاد لفترة قررت انه مادام انا كنفكر فإنهاء حيا.. وانا عارف ايجي نهار انديرها و انزعم عليها .. فعلاش ما نهزش حوايجي بدون وجهة محددة و نغير لمدينة نهائيا ونبعد و نبدى حيات من صفر لي غنقلب فيها على لكرى و على خدمة و على اصدقاء و اماكن جديدة ونخرج من منطقة راحة و غيكون مفروض علي نتحرك لأنه منين الحاجة كتكون مفروضة عليك و فمدينة غريبة ماكيبقاش عندك ديك لحرية باش تختار على گانتك فمورا لعيد لكبير أتنطلق لقافلة و أي صديق بغا ينظم لي و نتعاونو بجوج مرحبا فهاذا هو الحل الوحيد باش نتفاعل مع لحيات كفاعل مشي غير مشاهد ونتمنى تيسر لأمور 

وتقدرو تگولو علي لوزر و كنشوفها فراسي من ناحية تعاملي مع الحياة لكن كنشوف أنه كاين أمل

Hello everyone,

I came to oujda for a visit and so far I couldn't really find anything to do, its either going to shop, or eating at some restaurant.

Is there any activities I can do and places I can visite that are worth it? I just want to spend money on some good experiences that will last as a good memory.

Dating apps are super dry around here too, which makes finding people to spend time with around city even harder.

I would love to hear your recomendations.

Seeing how our city is degrading makes me really wondering why a such big city in the region is going through all this while other cities f lghreb are becoming better, here in Oujda, good maintained places are just near lwali and chari3…

Where i live, i personally noticed many degradations:

- Damaged roads and large potholes, no lights
- Inexistant rainwater drainage, ba9i lma mn chta li fatet
- Unsafe areas at night, without talking about all the aggressions that happen during the day and i guess we all saw that on social medias
- Illegally occupied buildings by migrants

Instead of just complaining, i thought it could be useful to gather real evidence from residents across all Oujda:
- photos/videos
- exact neighborhoods/streets
- safety issues
- infrastructure problems
- public spaces needing intervention
-…

The goal is to create a documented community thread that we can use to reports to local authorities, use it for a public petition…

Im sure im not the only one who noticed all that, and im sure here in Oujda we still have decent peeps who care and want to make their city better… so please let’s make our voices heard by evidences

I was stopped by the police while riding my motorcycle without having the documents with me, and they impounded the bike. The next day, I went back with all the required papers, but I was sent back and forth between two departments for no clear reason. One officer told me to return to the previous office, and there they told me the opposite. They didn’t even ask for my name or ID, it felt like the person just didn’t want to do their job. I left home at 10 AM and returned at 3 PM under the sun with no result, just wasted time and a long trip for nothing. Why does this happen?

Maybe we could be the last generation to remember how rich people used to be in Oujda when people used to do trade between Morocco and Algeria, everything was cheap, people were making fortune, i remember all these stuff when i was a kid

Also maybe the last generation to witness how green was Oujda, sorounded by Sidi Maafa forest and mountains, since the forest is shrinking day by day

The next generations would think Oujda was always like now

I'm new here in this city , I'm looking for new friends, are people here friendly or how ?
