i think i've already been through every ao3 fic and tumblr too, i'd like to know if anyone has fic recs or is a fanfic writer themself! i could write my own fics but all i can write these days is for college, unfortunately </3

after FIVE WHOLE YEARS of playing our life beginnings and always i finally purchased baxter's dlc and i'm absolutely OBSESSED. the DRAMA, the entire storytelling was amazing !!! this man actually got me PISSED from ghosting me. the moments are so interesting and the characters are so human. that's why i love the Our Life franchise so much !!

for the ones who played his route, which moment did y'all like the most?

Sooo I’ve been thinking about getting the Derek and Baxter DLCs since I want even more content of ol2, I already have the expansions and wedding dlc because I love cove sm! But I’m wondering if the Derek and Baxter DLCc are worth it.. What would you guys’ say what the pros and cons are for the DLCs?

Does anyone know what happened to @cove-simp on Tumblr? I tried to access her blog today and scroll through it but every time I tried to load it, it kept giving me an error message? I know she’s been on a hiatus from Tumblr since 2024 so the likelihood of her deactivating it herself in 2026 seems very slim. Does anyone know what happened to her blog?

I've always loved the fond-crush-love-love progression, but I've been wanting to try something different for a while so I chose to go for a slow burn this time around. I went with what I thought was the most obvious choice: indifferent-fond-crush-love.

While I do love some of the moments MC and Cove have in step 2 as just friends (since Cove is A LOT more confident around MC without the crush in between, quite a few things are different), I felt that the progression from indifference to fondness was kind of abrupt? It got a little better after I played around a bit with the moment order in Step 1 (playing Sandcastle second last and Runaway last is what has worked better for me so far), but I still don't think I'm convinced.

So... I guess I'm wondering if any of you have ever tried an indifferent to love or indifferent to crush route that you liked! Perhaps I shouldn't switch to fond until step 3? Maybe there's a different moment order/dialogue choice that would make the transition feel smoother? Any advice and recommendations are welcome!

Edit: Solved. I don't know if GB maybe read about the error thing and re-uploaded the fixed Link but after installing it again it actually worked. Although what I did was nothing different from what I already tried, so I don't know what to say.

I tried asking on Patreon directly and while waiting for an answer I thought I might as well try my luck here too, although I don't know if I can.

Is anyone having troubles at all on mobile when downloading it?

Ignoring the Drive having reached the maximum number of people and downloads and not letting me interact with the download at all, the only time I got it to work on drive and installed the package it said there was a "error in parsing the package" which is weird because up until now never happened.

I tried Dropbox, I tried the alternative way to install from Drive (the workaround) but it's not really an issue downloading the link, the issue is actually downloading the APK itself.

Is it corrupted or is it something wrong on my side?

GB says when installing it she has no issues whatsoever (someone asked in the comments) but I assume she was on PC to begin with.

I did try to ask GB in the comments but I can only wait really, however maybe someone had the same happen to them and knows what happened/how to fix it.

Edit: I also want to point out I'm not the only that had issues with this particular download, although some fixed it with Dropbox other people still can't get the game to work/get a error message regardless of it being installed on Drive or Dropbox.

So, quick question. If you make a deal with Derek by then end of step 2 to get together ten years in the future if you're both still single, but by the time you get to step 4 you are already dating or in love with Cove... Is there any callback to the deal in his epilogue and a verbal acknowledgement that it's not going to happen anymore? Or does the epilogue just default to the friendship route and never mention the deal as if it never happened?

Just like the question said ehehe. Most of the time people speaking in step and moments but since I haven’t played any of the games yet I’m having trouble projecting how much they represent. So for a run of the demo, roughly how long I can expect to play ?

I do plan to play the first game but I just think the vibe of this one caught me a bit more ahah

Edit : actually im gonna cheat and piggyback myself and add another question : how replayable is the game (OLBA) ? I understood there seemed to have different routes like friends , romantic etc … but without spoiling , how expansive I can expect it to be ?
