I think I played with them about 2-3 times as an - 11-12 year old.
Afterwards, I just sleeved them. Looking back, I had some interesting organizing skills.
Long-time fan of the game, going back to the 90s as a teenager. My friends and I only ever played amongst ourselves, so we naturally developed our own styles of play that I'm seeing run counter to a lot of the meta sensibilities (100 card decks, 2-3x of some special cards, etc..).
I'm curious if anybody has any tips, or links to any useful resources that could help with deck building.
For instance, is there a 'golden ratio' of special cards, universe cards, and power cards?
And are we correct in thinking that basic universe/training cards are risky propositions under normal circumstances, giving up hand advantage by burning 2 cards for an attack/defense?
Anyway, just figured I would ask, and appreciate any guidance or links that could be provided. I'm excited for the Skybound set coming up and have been trying to prebuild some decks in preparation!
Throwing it back to the Canadian Regional!🔥
Great games, great people, and plenty of OverPower action. It was awesome seeing the community come together, and even better seeing some players crack packs and get their hands on the newest Skybound set!
Can’t wait to see what’s next. Who’s ready for the Seattle Regional?
Congratulations to Jessica Simms, our 2026 Canadian Regional Champion! 🏆
This victory marks a special moment in OverPower history, as Jessica becomes the first woman to win a major OverPower event since Cherie Briggs captured Nationals in 1995 and 1996.
An incredible accomplishment and a well-deserved title. Congratulations, Jessica and we can't wait to see what's next! 💪
