I just tried it yesterday and I noticed that you can no longer choose what role you want to pick in this mode... considering that probably half of players there just play the support role, this will end with almost all the matches with 3-4 support players that have to fight to be the first ones to pick and force the rest of the team to play roles and heroes that maybe they don't want or even don't know how to play...

To do this in a mode where you're locked once you pick and that require the players to have an understanding of the hero skills and buids while having to play at least 15 minutes with that choice is a really stupid move in my humble opinion. Of course there are people who will be happy with this scenario, specially some of the support players that would find matches faster, but I think they will regret this once they faced matches that force them to play as a dps and specially the tank role, that is clearly the less played and liked there(like in the other modes as well...).

In the end, despite this mode being a quick play, most people use it to train/warm up for competitive matches, is also useful to try new strategies or builds and this change totally ruins it's purpouse, forcing people to go to ranked to "experiment" properly. Is important to mention than obviusly people who like the role qeue will also migrate to ranked mode, so the queues there will be even longer than before.

I don't understand how they can allways mess up things. This mode was not perfect and they left it kinda abbandoned in last season, but at least it worked as intended.

I know they're not adding any new heroes, but come on! They're already done. I dont care if they have slightly less powers than the rest of the heroes they're so fun. I dont want to have to play this random mode that will be gone in 3 weeks just to pretend they're in the real mode.

Dont make this become Gothenburg all over again (for those who dont know, it's the Swedish 2cp map that was shown in 2019 as fully playable, but they STILL refuse to add it to the arcade, even though the files are in the game for the PvE mission. IT'S FREE CONTENT!)

I sat comfortably in top 500 for a good while hovering around 350, I had a good gauge of how frequently I needed to play to maintain it, but with only like 16 hours left I didn’t have time to play but assumed I’d still maintain top 500.

Nope! I forgot they keep increasing the amount of points they give up to the final hours so suddenly if you’re not playing on the final day you’re basically screwed from 350 down if you’re not playing that final day lol

Oh well, I guess I’ll wait until closer to the end of the season this time to really start my stadium grind
