Very genuine question

In what way those two make a good ship ? How well written was the ""romance"" ? I see a lot of people trying to defend yuunoa but I'm suprised for real ! Like, what's the appeal ? How is it even a good love story ?

We got Shinoa's perspective on it, that's okay but absolutely nothing from yuu's side qo I really can't understand why some people would objectively cpnsider it a good romance

Also before you come to me, I'm not especially a YuuMika shipper or anything, I truly don't expect them to end up together at the end. Truthfully, I'm on the side of both of them dying at the end. But even I understand the YuuMika shipper, cause irronically, their bond is much more developped on both side compared to Yuunoa

was it ever like, teased he had that "hack" ability, it seems kind of sudden for him to have after all this, feels like a way to try to make the shinoa squad seem stronger even though he died basically just the same

I just caught up on the manga after years and that's just insanely bad writing. Out of this world to even keep insinuating them being endgame. The dude just killed all of their friends in front of her, imagine if she still chooses to stay with him. That would be a copy of SasuSaku. It's better if they end up like Eren and Mikasa, that's what I'm hoping for...

They won't make MikaYuu canon explicitly, but they could insinuate it. The best choice narrative-wise is just to kill Mika and Yuu together, and let Shinoa find happiness elsewhere. But what are the chances of that?

So, yeah my previous post was insensitive, and I understand that I went too far. Honestly the shipping made me completely unhinged so I must apologize.

So, I wanted to ask what are your takes on the next chapter? what do you think? will Yu kill shinoa? will shinoa somehow manage to convince Yu to stop his plans? (Hope not) or will we have Mika sacrifice himself? There is also a possibility of Yu's plan failing. Give your thoughts down below. I would say more detailed ones

Hey, I'm just making this post to interact with the community, and to see what's happened to the story (if anyone decides to humor this post that is).

I remember watching the show years ago and was keeping up with the manga, but then I remember dropping it after I just couldn't find enough interest to keep up with it. Especially since some parts really started feeling drawn out and or convoluted. I've been feeling a little nostalgic for the series lately, and wanted to see what was going on, since the manga is still ongoing apparently 🙃.

I hven't read the light novels, and the last things I can remember from the manga is Mika becoming a demon and Yuu abandoning the team. So I don't remember too much.

How's my girl Shinoa and my boy Shinya doing? Is mikayuu a thing? Is it close to ending?

Considering the manga will be completed soon, what were your favorite moments from Seraph of the End?

Look I know I am gonna get downvoted to hell and back because of all the yaoi that people seem to be into but I am just gonna say it! Why do people say Yu ending up with shinoa is bad! people will give the STUPID excuse of her madness. well she is changing now! we can see in the latest chapter that she does not have the kill Mika goal! Then there is people saying Yuunoa is toxi!! yuumika is even more toxic!!! Yu was happy with his new squad until Mika came!! Suddenly Yu is perfectly willing to follow an ancient psychopath's agenda that mind you lead to unforetold destruction and curse from God!! And it was because of the stupid mikaela and yu deal in the past which lead to all this bullshit! Don't justify what they did!! Mika is just a bad horrible influence on yuichiro. Atleast he had a much healthier dynamic with his squad. Mika is the reason for yu's downfall as a protagonist in literal terms!! Yuunoa all the way!!!

The series isn’t over yet and I’m already feeling nostalgic. I personally have been following ons since 2021, which is not much (in my opinion, of course) but enough time to develop an attachment to the characters and story.

I’ve always been excited to read a new chapter, even if it did or not meet my expectations. So ons ending I think would upset me, at least for a while. In part I’m feeling like that already.

But things have to end. Even if you like or dislike them. Nothing is permanent and that’s ok. It just feels weird that my brain is telling me the series is over when it’s not.

I mean, yes, it is almost over*.*

What/who I’ll miss the most will definitely be Mika. I especially enjoyed vampire mika with the whole squad. It was a really great arc that I’ve reread multiple times. Some say that they miss the old artstyle but I think Kagami improved a lot. You can see that in the proportions. Even If the ‘sudden’ change made a lot of fans upset.
The artstyle in the newst chapters was actually not bad at all.
